Each day of the festa there is a procession in honor of the saints; this is the procession for saints Emidio and Maria di Costantinopoli. October 2000.
Each morning of the four day festa, the Lettomanoppello band plays.  Here they are in Piazza Umberto.  October 2000.
In each of the processions the mayor, Osvaldo Trovarelli, walks behind the statue.  October 2000.
The procession for S. Nicola (St. Nicholas), the patron saint of Lettomanoppello. The origins of our Santa Claus lie in the story of S. Nicola.  October 2000. The procession for S. Rocco, who is honored on the last day of the festa.  October 2000.
On the last day of the festa, in honor of S. Rocco, families donate for sale baskets of food, wine, and, at least in one case, ducks.  The proceeds from the sale are used to fund the festa.  October 2000.
Above: the "new" church, Chiesa Santa Maria dell'Assunta, decorated for the festa. Below, the interior of the church.  October 2000.
Corso Vittorio Emauele is decorated with many lights, and there are fireworks each night.  October 2000.
