Volatile Memory: RAM that is capable of storing information only as long as the computer is turned on, in Resume Mode, or until the battery discharges.

Web Page: A site on the Internet.
Write Protection: A safeguard that physically prevents you from deleting information on a diskette or other storage media. 3.5-inch disks have a small hole with a plastic tab, which must be uncovered to protect the information on a diskette. To uncover the hole, slide this tab.
