NOTEPAD (.pad)

You will design and print a 4 ¼  X 5 ½ notepad that will be cut from paper that is 8 ½ x 11.  Your design will include text and a graphic from the clip art file.  You will layout four notepads on the sheet.  You may have them all the same or all different or any combination you choose.  You will print 20 copies and using “padding compound,” glue them together into notepads.  Your design may be linked and copied, giving as many as 80 copies of one design. You must position your design correctly.  You must have a ¼“   margin all the way around your design on the paper and remember that the paper will be cut at 4 ¼  and 5 ½ “. 

MASTHEAD (.mst)

A masthead is usually the top portion of  a regularly published document such as a newspaper, newsletter, magazine, etc.  It is that portion that does not change from one issue to the next.  You will design a  2” x  8 “ masthead for our publication of   “careers.”  Your design will include but not limited to:

An Original Title
