With a small change, you can use this format for any of your classes grade average.  A spreadsheet contains spaces called cells.  Cells are identified by columns and rows .   B2, is located in column B, Row 2.  In each cell you may input a label (words) or value (numbers).  Values may be manipulated by mathematical formulas.  For example, this formula will add the cells B2 through J2 and divide the total by 10.  In cell K2, you will put the following formula.          =Sum (B2:J2)/9

Desktop Publishing

MS Publisher 97

You will use a desktop publishing program to make three graded assignments: notepad, masthead, and insert your career paragraph with a graphic into the career journal.  Desktop publishing programs are a lot more flexible than normal word processing programs because you can insert a larger variety of files and move or arrange them with greater ease.
