To burn
In each others arms
Hearts bright
Lost in the night
I talk and smile
Tease and make you burn
Watching the winds of change
Bind us in flames
Hold a thought
And whisper a wish
Find a prayer in your kiss
Touch your heart like a flame
Sweet prommises breathed
Against warm flesh
Wild passion burning
A fire in the sky
Skin to skin we burn
Hearts beating to fast as
We seek the final flame
Watching you sleep
Moonlight soft on the pillow
Lost in dreams
Sweet wonder in your smile
The stars a bright glow
In our forever night
Dare I touch you
The temptation is sweet
Or should I just let you sleep
The lost breeze caressing your cheek
I watch you dream
A gentle softness in my eyes
I touch your face in wonder
You awaken
Bright smile on your face
As together we seek love
In close embrace
Then lay my cheek
On your shoulder
Watching you sleep
Then fall to dreaming
In this our forever night
Clock ticking
Night quite
Pillow flufted
Quilt pulled down
Jammies fresh
Teddy in my arms
Night light on
Snuggle down
Covers to my chin
Goodnight kisses
Dreams waiting
Settle down
Eyes slowly close
Thoughts drift
Smiles come in dreams
Sweet sleep
Good night
Incomplete morning
I’m having one of those days
Of incomplete thoughts
Random words
Just want to wander across the page
Not wanting to make sense
Just driving me insane
Bits and pieces
A word here
Another there
Scattered thoughts
Going nowhere
A frown
Then a wild scribble
And back to the start
Crumpled papers litter the floor
Ink stained fingers
Tousled curls
I look again
Laugh softly
And decided that’s not so bad
Smooth them out and go on
Look for my coffee
Finding it cold
Thoughts in a tangle
Time to go
Standing still
Standing still in this moment
Watching you
I smile
And wonder at your strength
The tender way you touch my face
Then help slay all my daemons
A man out of time
Come to walk this path with me
A rocky road
Filled with danger and hope
As we wander across this land
Seeking honor
And life here among our friends
One Black Day
Eyes open wide in the dark
Fear touching my heart
Screams heard and unheard
Tearing my thoughts
Flames as they fall
Reaching unable to help
Watching death tumble from the sky
Surreal in it’s grayness
A thoughtless moment in time
Paused forever in my mind
Watching I pray
For lives unknown
Souls touched in pain
Jerked from life into death
By a world gone mad
Sanity gone in that moment
My world changed forever
Fear touching my heart
Terror found
Brought in flame
One black day
