Friends from the illustrious class of 1982
Ok, I'm father and balder but of course much wiser and hen tsungming.
Greetings to all my buds.
Life continues to be exciting for our family and we continue to be richly blessed.
I have a busy practice in general surgery. I am part of a large group of doctors and thus have much to do. I enjoy my work but is stressful. You know what I mean Todd. It has been a gratifying career. My practice is primarily cancer surgery, trauma and emergency surgery, and the whole hodgepodge of abdominal conditions such as hemias, gallbladders, appendixes, etc. I spend a fair amount of time on the road doing outreach clinics and traveling up to the large Blackfeet Indian reservation in northern Montana. My free time is mostly spent in the mountains backpacking, skiing and camping. Other hobbies include scuba diving and playing squash. I still do a bit of singing and tickling the ivories. Polly and I also love to travel with the family and hope to go to Beijing, Hong Kong in Christmas 2007.
My wife runs the house and takes care of my children >90% of the time. I am richly blessed to have a god fearing wife and wonderful mother to our 4 children. I also am a handful at times. Can you believe that she has put up with me for 21 years.
Elli is 15 and is active in volleyball, piano, skiing and her studies. She is leaning toward the arts and college is just 3 years away. I shudder to think what I was doing at her age and can't believe that she is growing up so quick. I actually had a date with Leta Sue Trinkle at her age.
Heidi is 13 and wants to be a teacher. She also is an athlete playing basketball, volleyball, and skiing. Her grades are excellent. Alicia is 10 and also doing well in school. She wants to become a doctor but I don't know if she knows what she is in for. She is a great skier and has a beautiful voice.
Will wants to be a fireman on some days and a policeman on other days. He is full of life and is all boy despite his three biggest sisters beating up on him. He loves to crush the ski hill and the baseball. Go figure.
We are having a great time up in Montana. Stop by and see us if you're in these parts visiting Glacier National Park. It's my backyard.
Can't wait to hear from everybody.l
