Hi Everyone!
Greetings from the center of the world! As most of you know, we moved to Dubai in August and have settled in well already. The boys are going to the American Academy of Dubai and have enjoyed this new school. The school is big with 1700 students, and all the teachers are from the U.S. My son has got a PE teacher who graduated from TAS in '93! The world is small these days.
I've taken on a new hobby: dune bashing (as it's called here). That means we take our 4-wheel drives out into the desert and try not to get stuck with them. If we do, we all spend a few hours trying to dig and pull them out. What's the point you ask? It's hard to explain. We have also enjoyed camping out in the desert. It's a fantastic experience.
The city is incredible and the speed of development is absolutely crazy. For me and our construction business, it's THE place to be. So far so good.
