The Seasons of Pokemon (v1.1)
The Pokemon Anime is broken up into seasons. There are currently 3 seasons of Pokemon which have been (are) airing. They are the following: (Some are Japanese versions and not yet dubed into english)
1. Indigo League
1.Ash starts his Pokemon Adventure in Pallet Town. He gets his First Pokemon, Pikachu and begins his great journey to become a Pokemon Master.
2.Team Rocket is introduced
3.Misty joins the crew.
4.Brock Joins the crew.
[NOTICE: This happened only in Japan, the episode was not aired in the US] 3 episodes did not show in the US. One; Electric Tale of
Porygon..Two; Legend of Dratini and Three; Holiday in Alcapoco.
5.Todd Joins, then leaves later on.
6.Ash's Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then into Charizard.
7.The first gold/silver version Pokemon ever seen, Houhou (in first episode) and than Togepy.
8.Ash finally has at least 6 Pokemon.
9.Jigglypuff starts to follow Ash and friends
2. Orange League
1.Ash returns to Pallet Town
2.He incounters the Elite four (broken up in different episodes)
3.Gets another rival [Richie] (looks like him, and has a Pikachu aswell!)
4.Becomes 13th when he battles in the Pokemon Lueage Tournaments
5.Brock Leaves the group to stay on an island with Professor Ivy
6.Ash gets the GS ball from Professor Ivy
7.Tracey Joins the crew
8.Ash completes the Orange Lueage
3. Jolt League
1.New Gold/Silver Pokemon are finally introduced
2.Snubble starts to follow Rocket Dan (Team Rocket)
3.Charizard leaves Ash to stay in the valley
4.The GS ball is given to Gantetsu and Ash, Misty and Brock each get new types of Pokeballs.
5.Squirtle leaves the group to return to the Zeni Dan (Squirtle Squad)
6.Ash finally gets all three new GS starters. (Chikorita, Hinorashi and Wannioko
