Sarah treated her junior year much like her freshman one. When she wasn't concentrating on school, she concentrated on having fun. She also got a part-time job (the now non-existent Lexington City Brewery), so her sorority (Alpha Omicron Pi) commitments suffered. By the end of the year, she was no longer in good standing with the chapter. Duncan's concentration lay in avoiding Sarah and trying to get over her. He would not return her calls and was not his usual friendly self when they ran into each other. Sarah was only mildly concerned with this, having no idea, of course, how much Duncan liked her (or how much she really liked him). Despite a rocky junior year, Sarah and Duncan continued their tradition of writing and calling over the summer. In Oxford, Sarah took a couple of classes at Miami and made some friends. In Hopkinsville, Duncan started dating someone.
