Duncan was a bit more welcoming to Sarah's visits and phone calls during their senior year, though a side of him didn't want to get back into things with her. Sarah could sense that he was a bit uneasy, but she didn't care. Afterall, they were supposed to get married!

Days of Sarah "courting" Duncan -- hanging out with him in his Rosenthal dorm room, seeking him out on campus and in the cafeteria, going to his Indy intramural football games (in the freezing cold), touching knees under the table at BW3's (when they went there with Corey and Chris), holding hands in Chris's car, and two kisses -- led to the night that Sarah had been waiting for. She called Duncan after a Pike chapter room party to see if they could talk about things. Duncan said he was just about to go to bed.

"I don't care, I'm coming over," said Sarah.
