See Previous for Tips You May Not Know Micro Management Little usage in this game, but basically, if you are outnumbered by melee attackers, or short ranged, and you are defending with long ranged(quick moving) units. First, have one unit attack, while your other units run, then when they attack your unit attacking them, send your other units to attack, while one runs. Get it? The way to stop it is to start to run, and when they chase you you click on one unit, while they dont have time to turn around and micro. This is extremely hard in Warcraft III. Another form of this, is assigning each unit to attack its own, when it is a closer to fair battle. This helps because, if 4 Archers are attacking a Footman, and the Footman dies from one, 3 of them already mounted bow, and then they have to pull away. Get it? That is a basic form of Micro Management. Air or Ground? Ok, if you plan on going air rush, get a Barracks, or whatever building that acts as Barracks in other races, and start building guys while you tech, basic guys, and when you get like a Noobs version of an army, send them in, for scouting, and to make it seem, that you are a noob thats going ground. Then send your air, from different sides, and maybe some ground guys too. |
