Big Brother: San Francisco Episode
#6 THE BEGINNING: Evictions were getting harder and harder for the houseguests. Although Ayane had not been participating as much as she had in the beginning the house was missing her smiles and giggles. No one was feeling completely safe. If someone as bubbly and vivacious as Ayane could be voted out by the group, anyone could be next. The Oasis alliance was all but a memory and new alliances and friendships would be needed. Angela and Michael continued to get close and they seemed extremely happy. Everyone had their minds on the game The group waited anxiously for word on the reward challenge. They had plenty of groceries and the life in the house was great, they just needed something to keep their minds off the boredom they were all feeling. The time for the challenge came and went with no word from Big Brother about the challenge. There wasn't a beep from the loud speakers. Night fell and the guests sadly realized there would be no reward challenge for this episode. It was just like Big Brother to do that to them when the challenges were all that occupied their time. THE CHALLENGE: The next day everyone got up early. They were on edge and a little touchy with one another. They spent the morning playing cards and trivia games, but their minds were on the up coming challenge. The next one would be the all-important Head of Household Challenge and everyone wanted desperately to win. After a light lunch prepared by Heidi and Lindsey the guests were starting to think that they would have to go through another challenge-free day in the house. Finally the voice of Big Brother boomed through the house. The guests were instructed to close the blinds to the yard, the HoH challenge was going to be outside. They were told to stay away from the windows and wait for the announcement about the start of the challenge. The cast was very excited about the challenge, especially when they heard pounding and the sound of power tools from outside. It seemed like hours before the challenge was set up but finally the houseguests were told to head out into the yard, the challenge was going to start. What they saw truly took them aback. The yard had been transformed into a "tribal council" set from the show Survivor. The scene was exact. There were benches for each of them and each had a torch behind it with their names carved into it. Lindsey couldn't participate because she had won the previous HoH challenge so she sat to the side and watched. They took their seats and their host, Josh, appeared on a the TV screen that was set on a pedestal in the postion usually occupied by Jeff Probst. Josh was dressed in kaikis and had a deliberatly smug look on his face. "Welcome to Big Brother San Francisco SURVIVOR", he said. The group was thrilled and ready to start. Josh continued with the rules. "This game will be played much like the actual survivor game. You will be divided into two tribes to start, Tribe Big and Tribe Brother. Since there are six of you playing it will be a 3 - 3 split. You will be competing against each other for "immunity". If you lose the challenge your tribe will have to vote out one of their own. Once you are down to four "survivors" there will be a merge and you are playing for individual immunity. When you are down to the Final Two the jury will decide who wins the title of Head of Household. Any questions? Good. Survivors ready! GO". The houseguests went through trivia challenges, scavenger hunt challenges and puzzle challenges until they were down to the "final two", Michael and Andy. The jury got to vote and the winner of Big Brother San Francisco and the HoH postion went to Michael for the first time! NOMINATIONS/EVICTIONS Michael had waited a long time to win a challenge in the big brother house. It was a bittersweet victory. He knew he would be safe for another episode, but he also knew that one of the people he nominated would not. He had made bonds with everyone in the house. This was a very tough decision. It came time for Michael to take the Safe Box and the keys into the HoH Room. He put one key aside then put most of the others in the box. He thought long and hard about which other key would stay out of the box. He slipped the last key into the box and went out to the livingroom. He called everyone around for the nomination ceremony. The mood was solemn. Everyone felt nervous about what was going to happen. The bonds were close in the house, they knew that even if they personally didn't get nominated one of their friends would. Michael made a small speech about his choices then the keys were pulled from the box. It was Andy and Heidi up for eviction! Andy was up again. He had dodged the bullet last round and now had to do it again. Heidi was an extremely tough competitor having won the Head of Household position twice. Perhaps Andy could use that as leverage in gaining support for him to stay. The other houseguests were in for the toughest job yet, deciding between these two friends. When it cam time for the voting no one had made up their minds yet. One by one the guests went into the confessional room and gave their votes. Josh appeared on the screen to announce the results. "Andy was up for eviction last time and managed to stay in the house a little longer. Heidi, you are a great player who doe well in the challenges. You are both great players and the vote reflects that. It was a tie! Michael as HoH you must cast the deciding vote. You alone will have to chose who will stay and who will go. I'll give a few minutes to think about it then please enter the Confessional Room and give your vote." The decision seemed like an easy one to everyone else, Michael and Heidi had become friends in the house. A look passed between Andy and Michael and then Michael went in to vote. Josh appeared again to give the result. "Michael has made his choice and has chosen to evict Heidi. Heidi, please gather your things and say your good-byes, it's time for you to leave the house." A look of shock came to Heidi's face. Michael had surprised everyone by keeping Andy in the house instead. Heidi was one of the strongest players in the house. Had it become dangerous to be good competitor? Stay tuned for Episode 7. |
