Big Brother: San Francisco Episode
#7 THE BEGINNING: The harmony in the house had been disrupted. Michael had shocked everyone by voting to evict Heidi. She was an amazing competitor who was well liked, seeing her go was a blow to everyone. Was there another alliance here that had just surfaced? Had Andy and Michael struck a deal? Was anyone else involved? They were all questions running through everyone's minds. But shocked or not the game had to go on. The game had changed. If there was an alliance, were they going after the strong players to eliminate the threats? The next challenges would be crucial. Winning an advantage with the reward challenge would be nice, but winning the HoH challenge just took on a new importance. THE CHALLENGES: The reward challenge was set for the evening. The houseguests were anxious to get started. They were all called to the living room. The big screen television popped on and Josh appeared. Behind him was a big yellow and red flag. He began giving them instructions. "Welcome to the Amazing Big Brother Race! You will be sent on a series of tasks throughout the house. One in each room. Once you have finished a task to our satisfaction you will be told to take an envelop from the box. The envelop will contain a clue to the next room and the next task. The tasks will vary, some will be trivia challenges, some will be assembling puzzles, amongst other things. The last person to complete the task in a room will be eliminated from the race. Once you are eliminated please come back to the livingroom and sit down and wait for the others. The first task is in the dining room. There was no Reward Challenge in the last episode so you all get to participate. There are five envelops containing clues to the next room, if you don't get one of those envelops you were the last to complete the task so come back here. The second task only has four envelops and so on. Good luck racers! GO!" There was a scramble to the dining room. The first task was identifying countries simply by their silouetted shapes. It was harder then they thought but Lindsey took an early lead. She raced to the next task in the boy's bedroom. The others followed but Andy was the last one at the dining room task. He made his way to the living room. The challenge continued all over the house and Lindsey held on to her commanding lead, increasing it with each "leg" of the race. It came down to her and Cory at the final task in the kitchen. Lindsey's lead was too much for Cory to overcome and Lindsey was the first one finished. She had won the Big Brother Amazing Race! Lindsey was told to go into the Confessional Room and her reward would be explained to her. When she got there she found out that she would have the ability to nominate one person for eviction whether she won the HoH position or not. She had to give two choices just in case the winner of the HoH challenge nominated the same person. She had to give her choices right then and there. If the winner of the HoH challenge nominated her first choice they would go with her second choice. Lindsey took no time to pick Andy or Bethany as her potential nominees. The others would not know about this reward until after the HoH challenge. If Lindsey could win that as well she would get to nominate them both. The next day the group awaited the HoH challenge. They sat in the yard and swam in the pool, trying to forget how important the challenge could be to them. Lindsey was secure in the knowledge that at least one of the people she wanted nominated would be. In the afternoon Michael was instructed to go into the Confessional Room and get the big box in there. When he brought the box to the living room there was excitement among the houseguests. This must have been the challenge they were waiting for. Michael opened the box and found five lap top computers. He handed one to each of the participating houseguests. In the box was a set of instructions. "We know you have been craving computer access, well here is your chance. The Head of Household competition will be an arcade challenge. When you turn on those lap tops the game Alchemy will start on the screen. Your job will simply to get the highest score you possibly can. Once you have achieved a score you are happy with return the computer, with the score still up, to the Confessional Room. The score you bring into the Confessional Room will be your final score for the competition. The person with the highest score will be named the Head of Household. You must turn in a score before midnight tonight. Good Luck everyone and have fun!" Each houseguest found a quiet spot in the house and started learning the game. It was a game of strategy and skill. The scores were starting pretty low but as the day went on the scores got better. Lindsey was confident that her score was hard to beat and went to the Confessional Room. No one was sharing their scores so noone knew the status of the challenge. One by one the five players brought in their scores and the challenge was over. They gathered in the living room to await the results. Josh appeared on the TV screen. "The scores were quite good but I'm happy to say that noone beat my high score. However, since I can't win.....the winner of the Big Brother Arcade Challenge is Bethany! Congratulations. Now this round is a little different. Because Lindsey won the reward challenge she won the right to nominate one person. She has already decided and given us her nominee choices. Bethany, you get first pick. If you pick the same person that Lindsey picked then Lindsey will have to go with her alternate pick. Nominations are tomorrow. Good night houseguests." Another shock for the houseguests. Lindsey had not mentioned this to them and now they were left wondering who she had already nominated. Bethany would have to think long and hard about who she will pick. NOMINATIONS/EVICTIONS The nomination ceremony was a little different this time. Bethany had to take the Safe Box and the keys into the Confessional Room. There she put the key belonging to the person she was nominating into the black velvey bag. When she was done she left the room. After a few minutes Lindsey was called into the room. When she went inside she found that Andy's key was left on the chair. That meant the Bethany had not chosen to nominate Andy and Lindsey got her first pick. She placed the key into the bag and left the room. Bethany was called back into the room and the remaining keys had been placed in the Safe Box for her. She still didn't know who Lindsey had nominated and Lindsey didn't know who she had nominated. Bethany took the box to the living room and the ceremony began. The keys were removed. Andy was surprised that he was up for eviction a third time. The other nominee was Lindsey! Little did she know that she had been holding the black bag with her own key inside! Bethany addressed the group about her choice, "My Nomination, is Lindsey. She is such great girl...But A HUGE threat!! That fact that she has won stuff 3 times, maybe more. But only been nominated ONCE , Is definately a sign that she is a threat. Lindsey, you rock, good luck :-) " Lindsey addressed the group about her choice, "Andy, i just cant trust you, i have heard so many manipulative stories about you and i cant risk trusting you anymore then i already did. Im sorry for nominating you for a thrid time in a row, but i cant risk having you in the house anymore. Im truly sorry, good luck to you Andy." Andy had to try and avoid eviction for a third time. He was confident that he would have no trouble at all. Michael had saved him last time so there was no reason to think that he would not do the same this round. What Andy didn't realize was that Michael had taken a lot of flack for his decision. Lindsey was determined to stay in the house and did what she could to make sure the vote went her way. When it came time to vote both Lindsey and Andy were confident that they were staying, but only one was right.. Josh appeared to give the result. "Andy, you have been able to avoid eviction the last two episodes. This time, however, you were not so lucky. Andy, you have been evicted from the Big Brother San Francisco house, please say your good byes and leave the house." Andy could not believe what he was hearing. He thought he had a solid alliance. It just went to prove that there were no sure things in the Big Brother house. Stay tuned for Episode 8. |
