IN ROMANS 10:15 the Bible says, "And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things."
In Daniel 12:3 the Bible says, "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."
If you want to be a star, especially a shiny star, you must first have
pretty feet. Those that preach the gospel have beautiful feet. They are the ones that turn many to righteousness. So, if you want to shine as a star for ever and ever, you must first be a soul winner.
A soul winner's feet are called beautiful because they carry the person that has the good news of salvation that comes through the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Do you have pretty feet? If not, it is high time that you beautified them by telling somebody about Jesus.
Do you want to be one of those in heaven that will shine as a star for ever and ever? If so, you had better start making your feet pretty. I am not
talking about going for a pedicure. I am talking about being a witness for Jesus Christ.
I wonder if you could, in prayer, ask God to help you to have beautiful
feet?
When you think of beautiful feet, think of the feet of Jesus, the feet
that a sinner woman wept over, dryed with the hair of her head, kissed
repeatedly, and anointed with a precious ointment. To that woman, the feet of
Jesus were beautiful because he brought mercy and forgiveness to her.
When you think of beautiful feet, think of the feet of Jesus, our Christ, that were nailed to the cross. We see those feet as beautiful because they bought us mercy and grace through his substitutionary death. If his feet
could carry him to give his life at Calvary, surely our feet can carry us to our neighbor's house to tell them about the saviour.
Lord, give us pretty feet, and Lord, enable us to shine as the stars for
ever and ever.
