I've not updated in awhile because I'm working on a new Website free of Geocities problems, i.e adds and bandwidth problems. The address is already reserved, the layout has been designed, all that remains is the background design. It will be at www.gwenyver.com. I also have so many new costumes that need pictures of! In the mean time, I've added one page to this website. I've recently joinde the SCA, so my lattest costumes are mostly medieval. The new page can be found here. It is simple, but pretty.

Wow, once again, I've not updated in a while. I have a few costumes that need pictures and then they can have their own page. I also have a few that need finishing (like my Arwen Angel Dress). Working full time and going to school full time doesn't leave much time for making costumes. All the sewing I do these days if for school project (did I mention I study fashion design?). So today the big thing is I've re-activated Nancy's link on the Intro page. Her website is down, and I just love her creations and think they ought to be seen. Some of you may know I had never taken down her pages because of that. So for now, that's the big news.

Well it's been awhile. Between school, work and dancing I've not found much time to update my website. But I have made new costumes. I've just made a page for my Halloween costume which was an Undine. I still have to get pictures of my Hogwarts student costume and my Amidala's Purple travel gown. Hence, more to come!

Ok, more pages have been added: The Made For Others section, including a Joker Tailcoat and Odysseus Palantir / Morrôkon Donthonion's costume page, a second outfit for Oriana Golwen, her Scouting Outfit and more pictures added to my Padmé Picnic Gown page. Oh, I,ve also updated a couple of links on the Links page. Halloween is coming so more costumes to come!

Well I've finally taken the time to make the page for my Louis XV Day dress. I have more updates to come, but please be patient: I work full time AND go to school full time (plus dancing!). Ok, I admit, I'm tired, but fashion desing classes are worth it, right?

I survived Bicolline! Both the sewing rush and the Battle. I have so many new hings to add to the medieval section, I don't know when it'll happen. I did add a picture of my Battle Outfit that was taken last week. I am also starting to receive custom orders for costumes. Yeah!!! I'm really excited about that prospect. As for the bandwidth problem you always get with Geocities, I'm working on it.

Well I did tell you about my Louis XV type dress, but now I have pictures! I don't have time to give it it's own page just yet, but I'll give you a sneak peak. I still have alot of work before Bicolline so I don't have much time for myself, plus I'm starting to get demands for custom made costumes, but I will share that I am working on a french version of this website. Also, Nancy and me are working on a way to start an ICG chapter in Quebec. And finally, I've been researching historicall dresses alot lately so I've found new sites and you can find their links in the Links section. Stay tuned for more Updates.

Gwenyver's Closet is a whole year old! Yeah me! And the closet is still getting filed up. I have so many projects now I don't know when I'll sleep! Most of them are medieval clothes for Bicolline. One of my projects is a Louis XV type dress to wear at the Fêtes de la Nouvelle-France in Quebec City. More pages comming soon.

Well I'm glad the Star Wars rush is over. I did manage to finish my Padme's Picnic Dress in time for the party and movie. You can check out the results here. I have also added my Twi'lek costume to the Star Wars section. So if you'r in the Star Wars mood, go check it out!

Hey, just a quick word to mention I've added a new page on my side of the closet. Not only do I make costumes, I also make Irish Dancing dresses. You can now see my very First solo dress. Nancy wishes me to tell you that she has decided to get her own closet. You know how girls and clothes are, imagine two sisters sharing one closet! She is working on her very own website and will post the address soon. As for projects I'm working on, I am doing Padme's Picnic Dress for the Premiere of Star Wars III. I am using Obi-Dawn's dress tutorial to make my own dress, so I have started to punch little butterfly sequins out of Mylar sheets. My hands are sore!

Well first off, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Hope you had a wonderful holiday and that you took advantage of your local fabricstore's sales. Nancy has asked me to say that she has decided to clean up her closet so some things may change in the next weeks. She has made many new pieces and she will soon take many picture of her work. The cleaning is not only motivated by the fact that she recently got herself an overlock machine (of which I am quite jealous, not having one myself, but I'm sure she'll let me use it from time to time), but also because she has a lot of project and may not have enough time for sewing this summer, so she has to get going.

As usual, I'm working on a milion projects at the same time. One I should be done with soon is Arwen's Angel Dress. But as Christmas is coming, I have other priorities. Still, I took the time to add a new page on one of my first costumes here. It's not very impressive compared to other creations of mine but everyone has to start somewhere and I thought I'd share that.

Finaly! I've finished all of Nancy's Medieval section. It feels like it took forever! So now, all of our creations have been added. Some new things might be added eventualy, but for now everything is done. If you notice links that are not working well or writing mistakes (please remember my first language is french and I am only human), please notify me so I can make the necessary corrections. Right now, I've been looking at these pages for so long I couldn't notice a mistake. So please, enjoy your visit and don't hesitate to give us some feedback!

Ok, I've been working hard on Nancy's side of the closet and her Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings pages are now complete. As you may have noticed if you've visited it, her Medieval collection is quite extensive. So I still have some work to do on that, but some of her garb is already there. Soon, I promise, everything will be done. I hope. She's already got a few new projects we need to take pictures of! When eill I have time to sew!

I've added a guestbook on the first page. I love to know what people's opinion is so this is the perfect place for everyone to express theirs.
On another note, I just feel like sharing a story. Nancy and I went to a medieval activity in Montréal on Sunday, in costumes of course, and someone asked to take our picture! I'm all excited, it's the first time that's happened to me. I find it is a very nice compliment.

Ok. Now I haven't been able to put up all the pictures yet because I ran out of time ant it is a longer process than I expected. But at least, my medieval section is finished. You can see it here. As for the other sections, I'm working on them. Thank you for your patience.

Finaly! The pictures have been taken. Nancy and I spent 3 hours today taking pictures, posing and getting changed. So during the week, lots of new sections should be added in our sides of the closet. Soon you will have your fill of costumes. Well, I hope you won't be too full because were always making new things.

Gwenyver's Closet is now open. Unfortunatly, there aren't any pictures yet but this should be rectified very soon. A photo shoot of all of the costumes ever made by Nancy and I has been planed for August. Descriptions of how the costumes were made are being typed up as we speak. I hope to fill in the closet a little by the end of the month.
