Rosemary

Perennial

Rosemary is a strong, pungent herb, so a little goes a long way.

It is great used to season meat dishes like roasts, and vegetable dishes, soups like minestrone, pea soup and stews. It is also good in chicken dishes and with mild-flavoured vegetables such as potatoes, beans and cauliflower.

For anybody who makes their own bread, try a bit of chopped up or dried, crumbled rosemary in it.
