Here's my Gourami page!!

Gourami’s are a relatively new fish to me. When I bought them at the store the guy said I could have six to eight in a twenty gallon tank together. NOT!!! They get to be six to eight inches long, there is no way that that would be a good environment. The guy also told me that there was no way to tell them apart, wrong again! The girls have more rounded fins than the boys. These are relatively peaceful fish, they chase each other sometimes but I have never seen them inflict bodily harm on other fish. They come in a wide variety of colors so you can mix and match fish, just don’t overpopulate your tank. Also make sure that you give them somewhere to hide, they are kind of shy and tense at times. Again, I haven’t bred them yet, so not a lot of information on that end. I plan on breeding all of my fish after I move. I don’t want to deal with it before that.
