Sub-commander T'Pol science officer, starship Enterprise Vulcan Vulcan assigned to work with Ambassador Suval; when Starfleet and the Vulcans disagreed over the return of a Klingon, the Vulcans finally comprimised by allowing Starfleet to send the Enterprise but only if a Vulcan was assigned to the ship. T'Pol became the ship's science officer for the mission and butted heads with many of the human crewmembers, especially Captain Archer and Commander Tucker. A vegetarian, T'Pol looks down upon humans as primitive and illogical carnivores and has many doubts about Enterprise's success. During her time on Enterprise, T'Pol has had an opportunity to learn more about humanity, and has developed a bond with Archer. She continually spars with Trip over various topics and has started getting along better with the rest of the humans, including Hoshi. T'Pol was scheduled to be transferred off the vessel and proceed with an arranged marriage, but was very pleased when her crew helped her stay aboard.
