 In a move to prove once and for all that he is still alive, Saddam Hussein appeared in public on Friday along with his body doubles. Despite the fact the Iraqi dictator's days are numbered, he and his doubles joked with the crowd and appeared quite calm. U.S. intelligence agencies have studied the tape and concluded Hussein may still be alive. Or possibly dead.

 U.S. President George W. Bush said he regretted the loss of innocent Iraqi life, following the accidental killing of several women and children at a U.S. checkpoint. "I blames Saddam Hussein for their deaths," Bush added, "because after all, it wasn't us that started this war."

Bush said the war "will take as long as it needs to - perhaps even long enough that the next election will be suspended. At least until the war on terrorism is over. I am the first president of the new millenium, and I plan on stayin' that way."

 U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow claimed the Senate cutting President Bush's proposed tax cut package in half would not be a factor in stimulating the economy. "President Bush is a smart man," Snow said, "and he has ingenious ways of giving the American people more money. In fact, he has authorized us to begin printing larger bills such as this ten spot here, so that the money families make will go farther."
