Warnings: This is a male-pregnancy story, so yeah, some ick factor is involved. Mentions of past rape (particularly chapter six). Otherwise, it’s fairly tame.
Summary: Xander’s life was tough enough, and then he got pregnant. Spike, always willing to pick-on an easy target, tries to benefit from Xander’s predicament. Of course, there are some nasty side effects to constantly being around each other, like they just might start to care… This is an alternate reality type of story. Takes place roughly after ‘Entropy’, with quite a bit of time elapsing since then. Everything after this point will be set in my reality (thus, different from canon). Giles is around, Anya isn’t, and Tara and Willow are Tara and Willow.

This is part of the loose series that also includes "Demons" and "Going
On." It's set about 7-8 months after "Going On," though most of it is flashback.
The title comes from the novel Brideshead Revisited, by Evelyn Waugh,
which was made into a deliciously slashy BBC miniseries in the early 1980s.
I saw it at a tender age, and it made me the perv I am today. Go rent it
(right after you finish reading this). By the way, Giordano Bruno was a
real person who really was burned at the stake in the year 1600.
