King of the Hill
One of the funniest shows on television, Mike Judge's King of the Hill is a great part of Fox's Sunday night. It does a good job of respecting and lampooning it's imperfect characters.
I guess Hank Hill is my favorite character because he's the most aware of how insane his world is, but he's still susceptible to his own personal foibles like his devotion to propane and football.
What I love about it: Peggy's obsession with having been Substitute Teacher of the Year, Bobby's odd desire to become a prop comic, LuAnn's innocent stupidity, Cotton just plain meanness and insensitivity, Mr. Strickland's shameless philandering, and Dale's paranoia, Boomhauer's near incomprehensibility, and Bill's patheticness.
