“She's always been a royal pain!” Yutaka
laughed. “You know…I loved her face, she was furious! Ha! Ha!”
“Don’t be so cruel!” He laughed remembering
how funny her faced looked when she saw Yutaka in the room. “She
must be pulling her hair out right now.”
“She deserved it…now…let’s left this home
and make that ice cream, you promised!”
“OK! I’ll fix that in a moment; don’t
worry. Then we make some ice cream. I want to spend what I have left
with you.”
The party began and most of Kouin’s friends
were there- the entire Council, his family and closest friends, but
Yutaka wasn’t there. Where is he? He thought, while feeling a little
anxious.
“Are you enjoying this, father?”
“Yes.”
“You look distracted. Is he coming?”
“Yes, but I don’t know what’s keeping him.”
“Is that why you're so tense? Maybe he
doesn’t want to see you go.”
“I don’t know, but he promised to be here.”
“I’ll tell godfather.” He left to tell
Hokano about Yutaka-he wanted to see his father smiling, and Hokano
promised to go look for him in a few moments since he was busy.
“Kouin, my love.” Kai grabbed his arm
smiling. “I’ll miss you.”
“Kai…I’ll miss you too, but we are not
together anymore. Do you understand? I won’t be waiting for you as
my mate anymore. I gave Yutaka my love, and this is our symbol of
love.” He showed her his necklace. “Don’t you dare to break mine
too, what you did was horrible. I love Yutaka; do you understand how
I feel?”
“Oh!” Her eyes were wet. “I understand…but
we can still be friends, right? We have a son.” He nodded. “Then
let’s dance.”
“No…I’m…”
“Waiting for him? Ok, do what you want.”
She left angry and stepped near the entrance to make sure Yukata
couldn't enter. Earlier she'd seen Yutaka trying to enter the party,
but was having trouble with the guards. “Don’t let him in, he is not
invited and will only cause disgusts to my love.”
“Kai! You know Kouin is waiting for me!”
“How dare you call his highness by his
name? Take him out!”
“Yes, highness.” They bowed low and ordered
him to go.
“She’s lying! She’s lying! KOUIN!!!!!” He
was pushed outside and sat on the floor crying with so much pain in
his heart. “Kouin…” I promised I’ll come…I have to see him before he
goes. I have to!
Kouin was sitting completely unhappy and
with red eyes almost letting out his tears. He’s not coming. Why? “HOKANO!!!”
He called almost desperate and the male quickly stepped beside him.
“I need a last favor. I can’t leave this place, but you can…please
go find him. I need to see him before I go, please.” His eyes were
pleading with desperation and Hokano was unable to say no to him.
“I’ll find him, I promise.” He took off
immediately.
“Kouin, it’s time to go.” His master called
him waiting near a pillar of light that went straight to the sky, it
seemed endless to whoever stepped beside it, and by using the pillar
angels could travel to Eden.
All the cities in Tengoku were placed
highly above the ground looking like huge plates floating in the
air, but they were held in place by an invisible energy field.
Because they were at the Gates- the way to travel between cities and
planets- the place was completely opened with no walls surrounding
them. It was forbidden for children to be there because of the
danger for them to fell down the precipice. “Kouin are you coming?”
“But master…”
“Come, we must part.”
He walked closer to his master and whisper.
“He’s not here. I need to see him.”
“Turn around.”
He did as his master told him and saw the
little figure of Yutaka running toward him. “KOUIN!”
“YUTAKA!” They both began crying immediatly.
Kouin opened his arms to receive him; everyone was staring strangly
at the love scene.Yutaka was only a few feet away from Kouin; Kai
Ling’s anger took over.
“NOOO!!!” Her eyes shinned and her body
exploded with her energy traveling quicker than thunder against
Yutaka throwing him down the precipice with the strong impact.
“YUTAKA!!!” Kouin was hysterical to see him
fall- it seemed endless. Without thinking, he threw himself down the
precipice to catch him, all the while thinking that this time he
wouldn’t leave the one he loved. He chose to die along with him, but
not to suffer another lifetime without him.
“No, Kouin!” His father yelled in
frustration when he saw his son jump to the abyss.
“Grandpa! Daddy! Daddy just…he just…ahhh!”
Kouin's son broke down, crying in his grandfather’s arms while
everyone stared in shock.
Kouin was falling with amazing speed almost
reaching his beloved’s body while two golden wings appeared on his
back at the same instant he reached him. “Yutaka!” He grabbed him
tight and spread his wings amazed to be able to save his beloved.
His body glowed intensely with his golden light while holding
Yutaka. “Yutaka…wake up love. Wake up.” He started flying slowly
back to the top trying to awake his lover without luck. The shock
Kai gave him almost killed him driving Kouin mad. “YUYU!!! Open your
eyes!” He reached the top and he stayed in the air holding his love
against his chest. Everyone stared at the beauty of his wings and
were completely shocked to see them alive.
“Kyuseishu, look! Your father…he has
wings!”
He turned to look and his eyes shinned with
emotion. “Father! He is alive!”
For all the citizens it was an incredible
moment, none of them have ever seen a winged angel, even when they
visited the planet, none of them were able to see the higher angel’s
wings, until now. “Yutaka…I’ll give you my strength.” He closed his
eyes and healed his wounds helping his energy to flow normally
again. It was a good thing his wounds weren’t that deep. “Open your
eyes, my love.” He took his hand and caressed Yukata's face lovingly
waiting for his lover to open his eyes.
Slowly Yutaka opened his eyes finding the
two blue eyes he adored so much looking down at him. “Kou…it’s you.”
“You’re ok!” His lips drew a wide smile
when he saw the two big green eyes he loved so much opened again.
“You…you’re flying! That means…you saved
me?” He nodded. “Why?”
“I rather die with you than see you die
again. I love you.” He kissed him still squeezing the younger man's
slender body in his arms and flying above the city. Everyone stared
at them kissing; they had a feeling it was right.
Yutaka saw his hand holding his and he
smiled. “You are holding my hand…you didn’t let go.”
“I’ll never let go again, you are my
everything- I could never love another.” He kissed him once again
and after their kiss ended, he floated down, putting his beloved on
his feet happy to be able to save him.
“Kouin, you should close your wings.” His
master ordered him, it was forbidden to show their wings. Because of
the emergency and because Kouin didn’t know it, his master dismissed
the notion quickly.
He obeyed his master’s commands and closed
his wings leaving golden feathers blowing in the air. “I love your
wings.” Yutaka grabbed one of his golden feathers and smiled while
softly touching his face with it. “Soft…humm.”
“I’m glad you like them.” Yutaka laid his
head on his chest and smiled looking up to his face.
“Thank you…for saving me, my love.”
“There’s no need.” Suddenly all the eyes
turned to where Kai Ling was standing and she started stepping back.
“How could you Kai? You shouldn’t hurt anyone, anyone. You know you
can’t use your powers to hurt others, only to heal and save the
least fortunate ones.”
“Kouin I…I’m sorry!” She fell on her knees.
“I was so jealous! So jealous!” She cried hopeless and ashamed, but
most of all scared of what may happen to her after her attack. “I’m
so ashamed.”
Kouin walked slowly till he was right in
front of her, she looked at his feet and then up to his eyes
expecting for the worst, but to her surprise he gave her his hand
and help her up. “You should be ashamed for what you did. I am sorry
everything turned out this way, you and I were always very close and
now…it’s my fault for bringing you here when you weren’t ready for
this type of compromise. When I looked for you I though it was a
good thing, but with time I found out you weren’t ready. You lived
on Earth because that was where you belonged and I forced your
evolution. I’m sorry, I just wanted to give a family to our son and
give you the right you had as a mother. I made a mistake. I am no
longer the ruler of this planet, so it’s not my choice what
punishment you should have, but I only wish you let go of all anger
and hate or else you will never complete your evolution. I love you
very much, and hope you find your way.” He looked to where his son
was completely shocked for all that happened. “Kyuseishu, I need you
to take care of your mother and guide her. I know you can do it, and
no matter what’s Hokano’s decision you must accept it and give your
mother the support she’ll need through the bad times.” He extended
his arm to him and he came grabbing his father’s hand. “Don’t
abandon her, she needs you now more than ever.”
“I won’t father, I promise.” Kouin hugged
the two of them and kissed their foreheads lovingly.
“I must go now.” He looked to Hokano and
smiled. “I trust your judgment.” Hokano nodded and gently smiled to
his dear friend while watching him walk away. “I’m ready, master.”
“Let’s go.”
Master Chidou stepped into the light
waiting for Kouin when he suddenly ran off and squeezed his beloved.
“I’ll miss you my love, I’ll miss you. Please remember me…I’ll think
of you always.”
“Kouin…I promise. I will love you always.”
“I’ll be waiting for you.” He gave Yutaka a
last kiss goodbye, and with crying eyes; he stepped into the light
disappearing at that same instant leaving only an echoing voice that
sounded softly in the air. “I love you!”
When he saw his dear Kouin disappear he
realized he wouldn’t be able to see him again in who knows how many
years and ran crying in desperation toward the light trying to reach
him. “KOUIN!!! Don’t leave me!!!” He grabbed into the light but it
vanished right away. “NOOO!!! NO! NO! NO! COME! DON’T LEAVE!!” He
was yelling hopeless looking up to the sky. “KOUIN! KOUIN! KOUIN!!!!!
No. No. AHHHH!!!” He fell down on his knees and cried without
consolation for his loss. “I’ll miss you.”
Hokano walked toward him to helped him up
but it was impossible to make him step from the floor. Therefore, he
lifted him up, carrying him to his room. “Calm down, you are not the
only one sad. I know how you feel.”
“Call him back.”
“I can’t, little one, I can’t.” He walked
away carrying the young one but before he left he looked to Kai
straight to the eyes. “I’ll let you know my decision tomorrow. I’m
not Kouin, but I’ll be considerate because of him and his son. I’ll
be considerate because he once gave me the chance when I was in your
position.”
“Thank you.” She had no choice but to put
her feet back to the ground, she always treated Hokano very harshly
and now she was in his hands so she had to be at least polite.
Hokano took Yutaka to his room and layed
him down. “I’ll change your room tomorrow, Kouin asked me to take
care of you and I will. I’ll give you the place he would like you to
have, and this is the worst room in the city, I don’t even know who
gave you this horrible room, no one is supposed to have it.
Anyways…drink this.”
“What’s that?”
“It will calm you down, don’t worry I know
a lot about medicine, so it won’t kill you.”
“Ok. I trust you…Kouin trusted you, so I
can too.”
“Thank you. What do you want me to do with
Kai?”
“I don’t know…I wouldn’t like to see her
again, but…there’s Kouin’s son and…I don’t hate her. I pity her, so
don’t be so hard on her.”
“Very well…good night.”
Kai was left in Tengoku, but had to spend
three moths on the temple under complete meditation and isolation.
After that she was ordered to do community work helping the children
in the Village where Yutaka grew up. Yutaka was moved into a nice
room and Kouin’s father became his master; he'd could start working
not only with the people outside, but also with his inner self.
Many years passed after the day Kouin left,
so many they seemed eternal. He was in Eden doing his usual work
every day. In Heaven all the angels had to work hard to help the
less fortunate countries of the universe, giving the people from
those planets the tools they needed to eliminate karma and reach a
higher level to find their way to Eden.

“Two million planets about to be destroyed,
it’s terrible! We need to do something fast!”
Suddenly his best friend appeared. “Yeah,
it’s horrible, but I think you can leave that for later, there is
something very important you must attend.”
“What can be more important? Hokano, you
know this is my life! I must do something, I just don’t know what
else to do…I wish they could understand.”
“Kouin, please come. Chidou is calling for
you. He said it was VERY important.”
“Ok, ok. I’m coming.” Hokano smiled and
guided him to where Chidou was waiting for him. “What is it Master?
I’m very busy.”
“I know…but we have that under control, you
have the week off.”
“But why? You know I’m very involved with
this mission!”
“I know, don’t worry we have many more
missions for you. This one would be resolved without you.”
“It’s not fair! I…I worked so hard with
these people, they expect to see me there.”
“I think you will forget about that soon,
so don’t complain. I have another mission for you.”
“And that is?” He wasn’t happy with the
decision.
“I want you to be happy.”
“What? That’s not a mission!”
“I want you to concentrate on your
happiness and stop working so much.”
“But I like what I do.”
“And I don’t doubt it, but…I have a
surprise for you.”
“Surprise? What can possibly surprise me?”
“What if I tell you that someone is waiting
for you right now in your chamber.”
“In my chamber? Did I get a room mate?”
“Yes.”
“Now that’s a great surprise!” He said that
in an ironic tone. Great, that means Yuyu won’t come like in another
100 years!
“You go meet your room mate now.”
“Yes…” He started flying away very
disappointed with the news. “Hey!” He turned around. “What that’s
got to do with me being happy?”
“That’s the surprise you fool! You still
haven’t figured it out? I thought you were smarter boy.”
His eyes widen in disbelief. “Does that
mean…?” Chidou nodded. “Yutaka is here!”
“GO!”
“AHHH!!!” He left quickly flying as fast as
he could, yelling Yukata's name like crazy trying to find him
sooner. Yutaka finally heard his screams as Kouin was getting closer
and flew to the sky to go find his beloved. From a little far he
could see a young man with beautiful white wings and hair flying his
way and screaming his name. “YUTAKA!!!!”
“KOUIN! KOUIN!”
They finally reached each other crying like
two little fools and squeezing each other in the air. “My love!
You’re finally with me! OH! I’m so happy!”
“Kouin…this is a dream…you and I, it’s you
with me again…it’s just can’t be!”
“Yuyu…my dear Yuyu.” They held tightly for
long minutes without even looking their faces, just feeling their
warmth and their skin. “I missed you! I missed you so much…what took
you so long?”
“My ignorance and stupidity. It took me 300
years to finally reach you.”
“300? I though they were billions of years.
Let me look at you.” Their eyes shinned with happiness and love; it
was the happiest moment for both of them. Kouin couldn’t remember
about his mission anymore all he wanted was to be beside the one he
loved and missed for so long. “No one will tear us apart ever again,
promise?”
“I promise. I’ll be with you forever!” They
finally kissed and went to their chamber to for some privacy; all
the angels in the area were watching happily the young couple.
“Baby…you have a halo. You’re so cute!!”
“You’ll get one too…now come here with me
and hug me, kiss me, squeeze me, pinch me, love me and do it all
over again.”
“As you wish.”
“You owe me 300 years of kisses and
love...so you better start now or you won’t ever catch up.”
“I think I’ll never catch up.”
“Then…you must love me eternally.” They
giggled and snuggled in bed holding their bodies close smiling as
they kissed and continued to make love. Their wish to be together
was finally granted, so many years they waited but for them it was
worth the wait. It was better to have love late than to never have
love at all.

Notes:
Tengoku - The planet where Kouin, Yutaka
and all low and mid angels lived.
High Angel - The ruler or leader of Tengoku
High or higher angels - angels from Eden or
heaven, the ones with wings and highest consciousness.
Miscellaneous:
After six months of living together in
Eden, Yutaka had a baby. Only a few male angels were able to have
children, and he was one of them. The men couples always had one
capable of giving a child to birth, that’s why they were accepted as
a couple- but they were just a few. The rest were normal couples.
Yutaka will not give birth to a child the same way humans do, he
won’t have to go through all that pain at all, the baby will come
out easily by using a special procedure in which they take the baby
out of the belly inside an energy field that will fade when the baby
is ready.
