What happen? He is so altered. I wish I

is a Council meeting and you must come.”
“Excuse me, but I’m not going.”
“Master Chidou is here, and he called the
meeting. It’s about you.”
Can’t I be lonely for once? “Ok, I’ll be
there in a few moments.” He closed the transmission and sat up. “I
have to be strong and pretend I’m ok…like always. I’m the leader, I
can’t be weak…I have to be strong…I have to.” He washed his face and
left to the Council room.
“Sorry to keep you all waiting.” Everyone
stood up and bowed low to him as he sat down and ordered them to sit
like it had always been. “Master Chidou, you wanted to say
something?” The meeting would go on for a few hours, and everything
would change from that day forward. Kouin was no longer the High
Angel of Tengoku, he will be off duty for the next weeks so he could
go to Eden. Master Chidou chose him to be his apprentice and to go
live in the heavens because he was ready for his transformation-like
they call it. It was an order from Eden and he should obey it. He
stood up slowly, Hokano helping him out, he knew Kouin was under a
shock so he guided him slowly through the corridors. “Take me to my
office, I have to empty it.”
“Yes, Highness.”
“I’m not anymore.”
“You’ll always be my master. Why are you so
sad? Didn’t you work hard for this? You wanted to be a high angel
and go to Eden, why are you so sad, then?”
Why now? “Just…I will miss this place and
all the people I love.”
“I guess, but forget it. Think about you.”
Hokano helped him to collect his things and take them to his room,
but noticed he was very depressed. “Hey, want to go for a swim? It
always calms you down.”
“You're right. Let me tell, Kyuseishu.” He
called his son on the transmitter they all wear in their wrists to
tell him the news and then they took off.
They went to their customary cascade and
Hokano sat on the ground to waiting for him as he usually did and
watched Kouin undress, like always. He is so beautiful…if only I

“I don’t usually do, you know that.”
“Why? You don’t like the water, or are you
shy?”
“Shy? No way! I don’t mind taking off my

they’ll change. Maybe our next ruler will like to keep this place

took off his pants and slid inside the river.

From a little further, emeralds stare at

bird!” Kouin was excited, for long he wanted to see the golden bird
that they believed only lived in that planet, but never had the
chance to see. “It’s saying goodbye…” His eyes glittered with
emotion, and at that moment he knew he was ready to fly away. As he
stared to the sky a twinkling dust was spilled on him and he felt
his blood becoming warmer. “It’s my path…I must take it.” Tears
appeared on his eyes at the same moment the bird vanished in the
sky. He lives in Heaven…not in Tengoku.
“What bird?” Honako kept looking, but he
couldn’t see it; only the ones that belong to Eden were able to see
his golden feathers.
“You can’t see it?”
“NO!”
“Then…he is in another dimension…cool! I
can see things from other dimensions!”
“You are a high angel, Kouin…I’m just a mid
angel.”
Yutaka looked and looked and saw nothing.
“There’s no bird!” He complained to himself.
Suddenly Kouin felt an intense pain on his
body caused by the dust inside him that was starting the last
process of his transformation. “AHHH!”
“What’s wrong?”
“Hokano! Help!” He couldn’t move anymore
and since he was in a deep area, he started drowning.
“KOUIN!!!!!” Hokano ran on the bank of the
river to get him, but because he couldn’t see him any longer, he
teleported inside the water. Yutaka didn’t know how to teleport and
Hokano was already inside the water, he figured it was the best
since he was obviously a lot stronger than him. But he was still was
very worried. Hokano swam through the water and searched until he
found him and pulled Kouin from the cool water. “Kouin! Talk to me;
please say something! Kouin!” He took his pulse- it was fine. “He
fainted. Could it be his transformation or was it the bird?”
A small figure shyly stepped beside him
looking worriedly at the young man he was holding. “Is he ok?”
“Yes. He fainted…probably normal.” He was
disgusted by jealousy at seeing the young man again, the feeling
strong as he lifted Kouin in his arms. “I’ll take him to the
clinic.”
“Please let me go.”
“No, he’ll be under strict guidance, so you
won’t be able to enter, only the people from the Council can, or his
family.” He vanished and taking him to the clinic.
“Yeah…people from the Council. JERK!” He
sats down very angry and pouting as he sat alone. “If I were his
mate, I could be beside him, but of course, I’m only Yutaka not Kai
Ling. If I were that strong I could have saved him, but not even
that I could do…I’m useless! I want Hokano’s muscles!!!” He yelled
frustrated by his impotence at the situation while kicking to the
air.
In the clinic Hokano was waiting for Master
Chidou to revise him worriedly. “Don’t worry so much Hokano, it’s
part of his evolution. It was a good thing you were there.”
“Master Chidou…when is he leaving?”
“When he is completely transformed. It will
be soon, he already saw the golden bird.”
“What would happen?”
“I cannot tell you.” He looked to Hokano’s
eyes kindly and gave him a soft smile. “You…you should forget about
him, you are not his soul mate. Yours is waiting for you in Eden.
She loves you dearly.”
He blushed. “So you know?”
“Of course I know…this will be good for
you. Hokano, you are a nice boy…you’ll be just fine.” He smiled,
leaving the room so he could be alone to think.
“I wonder how my soul mate is…is she as
wonderful as my Kouin?”
Outside the clinic a longhaired boy waited
to get the chance to sneak inside and see his beloved, but Chidou
quickly spotted him and grabbed him by the arm. “What are you doing
here?”
It’s Master Chidou! “I…I…was worried about
His Highness health.”
“He’s fine, now go Yutaka.”
“How do you…?”
“I just do. Let me give you an advice, if
you want to be with him work for it.” He left without saying another
word.
“Errr…I didn’t get that one.”
Kouin’s face turned softer and more
feminine- his factions were getting lighter and more heavenly
beautiful. The hair color changed to golden and the skin became
paler. Suddenly he opened his eyes and found Hokano sleeping on a
chair. “Always taking care of me…” He felt strong enough to sit up
as he began noticing his skin was softer and lighter. “I’m pale!”
Then saw a lock of hair that fell to his chest. “Golden?” He jumped
and looked into a mirror amazed to see his reflection so different.
“My eyes are still blue…but my hair is golden, like Hokano’s hair. I
look so pretty…and younger. Is this how I really look like?”
“Kouin?” Hokano was awake.
“Hey! Look, I have your hair color…cool
huh? Now we're brothers!”
“You look so beautiful…I wonder what else
will happen?”
“Don’t know… thank you for taking care of
me and saving me. You are always there when I need you.”
“It’s fine…brother.” Kouin hugged him and
then smiled. “I’m going home, my son must see me!” He left extremely
excited about his transformation, he'd waited only a few years for
that moment, but it was something he wanted with all his heart.
“I wish we could really be brothers…I never
had a brother, neither did you.”
Kouin ran to his son’s room and looked
straight to his eyes without saying a word, only smiling. “Father?
Is that you?” He was obviously confused since he'd never expected to
see his father looking so different.
“Yes, it’s me. It began.”
“Oh father!” He jumped to his arms and
hugged him crying with happiness and sorrow. “I’m so happy for
you…but…”
“I’ll miss you too.” They stood there,
silently holding each other- somehow they were saying to each their
own goodbye. “I’ll see you in Heaven.”
“Sooner than you think.”
“I’m sure…I love you.”
“I love you more.”
On his room Yutaka couldn’t stop thinking
what Chidou told him. “Work for it? What am I supposed to do? Always
so dumb! Grrr. I guess that’s what Kouin told me about, but…we can’t
be together, can we?” He snuggled on his bed trying to sleep but he
couldn’t stop thinking. Kouin…I’ll lose you again. I’m such a fool,
I should be happy to know you love me and I acted so stupid! I
wish…I wished you could stay with me. At that moment the door was
knocked and he sat up excited hoping it was him. It must be him! He
jumped off from bed and quickly opened with excitement finding a
gorgeous looking angel. “Kouin?”
“Yutaka…please don’t close the door. I…” He
entered the room and closed the door, then kissed him without giving
him the chance to even protest.
A tear ran down Yukata's face knowing that
was goodbye. He’s leaving! No, I want you to stay!
“I love you. Please don’t hate me. I know I
made a huge mistake, but I’ve paid the price…and still am paying.
Yutaka…I’m leaving Tengoku in a few days or maybe tomorrow…I don’t
know for sure. I wanted to ask for your forgiveness…otherwise I
would never be in peace.”
“Kouin…I have nothing to forgive, you

knew it was hard for you too…everything happened so suddenly…”
“You remember?”
“Yes.” He looked deep into his eyes. “I
love you too.”
Kouin held him, squeezing him tightly
against his body, happy to hear those words, and most of all wanting
to feel him close one more time. “Yutaka! Yutaka I love you, I love
you!” Their embrace tightenend and their bodies became warm and
excited with the emotion. “You don’t know how much I’ve begged for
this moment. To see you one last time and tell you that I love you.
I regret I never told you how much you mean to me. You are my
treasure, my all.”
“Kouin…do you really love me?”
“Yes!”
“Then stay. Stay with me, don’t go to
Eden…and make love to me.”
His face turned pale and for a moment he
didn’t respond to his plea, then his eyes turned soft while he
caressed the face of his beloved. “If that’s what it takes for you
to believe me…I will. I will love you and…stay.” Kouin took off his
tunic and also took off Yutaka’s while they kissed feverishly. They
slowly moved to the bed falling on top of it carelessly, Kouin took
off his pants and threw himself against Yutaka’s naked body. “I love

“That’s not selfish…you give me the chance
to see my child grow up and while you gave up your life. That wasn’t
selfish, that was heroic. What I did…that was cowardly. I should’ve
listened to my heart and I didn’t!”
“Kouin…I want you to go to Eden…I’ll see
you there when I’m ready.”
“No! I want you now…it’s not fair! I love
you; I’ve been praying for you to return back to me and now that I
found you, I must go away and forget about you? No, I won’t do it! I

“Think about it…if you stay they won’t let
us be together, so either way we won’t be together. At least God
made your dream come true, I’m here with you now just like you
wanted and you were able to tell me how you feel.”
“I guess, but what makes you think we’ll be
together in Eden?”
“Just a feeling. Kouin, only promise me,
you will always love me.”
“I promise. Are you sure of this?”
“Yes.” He faced him, hugging him while
crying. “I’ll miss you so much.”
“I’ll miss you seas.”

“Yes. Can I finish your painting tomorrow?
It will be my gift to you, so you’ll remember me.”
“Yes…but I don’t need that to remember you.
Can you stay with me tonight?”
“Those were my plans from the beginning.”

pouted.

rocks to get near the cascade and Yutaka followed nervously. He
slipped and fell because of his clumsyness, but Kouin waited for him
and helped him get to the point he wanted them to stay in- where the
waterfall fell softly and they could enjoy the tickling sensation of
the water falling down. “Now…I owe you a 100 kisses and yummy

and kissed so many times they even lost track. Yutaka and Kouin were

A woman observed the scene of the two
