Skyline: Fireworks explode over the skyline.Plot: It's Frasier's 2000th show at KACL, and to celebrate Bill Gates, the chairman of Microsoft, is coming into the studio for an interview. Frasier's joy is short-lived though, when first Bulldog returns and disturbs the show, and then Bill Gates starts taking callers! That night Frasier takes the tape of the show and puts it with his collection. All 2000 shows - or so he thinks. Some time ago, Daphne accidentally broke the tape of June 14th 1996, and the collection is incomplete. Frasier begins to obsess about this, and next day, on show #2001, appeals for a copy of the tape. The show manages to locate many lost items as it unwillingly turns into a lost and found show for the day, but still no tape. Back home, Niles thinks Frasier is too obsessive about his collection. But he hasn't met Tom, Frasier's biggest fan who has the tape - and pictures of Frasier everywhere; Frasier's voice on his answering machine; and quit his job just to listen to the show..... Subtitles: It's A Fancy Way To Say "Favor"; The Lost Weekend. Trivia: Bulldog's back! Dan Butler returned for this special episode. Bulldog tries to get Frasier's listeners to get him back on air, and he has taken a job at KACL sorting out the archives. Noel makes an appearance, but doesn't say anything despite being in the credits - he just waves at Bill Gates. Apparently they're old friends..... This isn't Ep 200 by my numbering, but it is #200 in production order. This counts each one hour episode as two half hour episodes, so by that system this would be Ep 200. Allison Janney (Phyllis) also plays Susanna in Ep 203 "Three Blind Dates". |
