Skyline: A crane lifts a load over the skyline.

Plot: Charlotte is off to Portland to present a speech to the Northwest Businesswoman's Association. Frasier offers to drive her to the train station. On the way Charlotte tells Frasier that she will be moving back to Chicago in 3 weeks to buy her ex's half of their business and that she doesn't think they should have a long distance relationship. Frasier is sad but realises that she is right. They get to the train station and realise Charlotte has missed her train, so Frasier drives off to the next station, but she misses it there too. Then the car breaks down.

As their cellphones aren't working, Frasier and Charlotte have to spend the night with a very strange family. There's mechanic Harbin, whose mother died and is due to be buried the next day; his wife Sue; and their creepy son Jonathan who seems very interested in Charlotte. Frasier and Charlotte decide it is best to stick together and pretend they are married to get a bed together. They end up on a pull out bed in the living room where Harbin's mother's coffin is. As the various family members keep opening the corpse during the night, Frasier and Charlotte feign sleep but are easy enough with each other to laugh about it. They decide that they should make the next 3 weeks special, as if they were a summer fling, before saying goodbye.

Meanwhile, Niles has to interview a stripper for Martin's bachelor party, Martin has to interview a new psychical therapist, and Daphne has to interview a nanny - all on the same night. Confusion soon sets in about which woman is being seen by whom.....

Subtitles: Neighbors Described Jonathan As A Nice Boy Who Kept To Himself.

Roz loves.....: Frank, Charlotte's ex-boyfriend. She seems to be fantasising about him at the start of the episode.

Trivia: This episode was originally going to be called "Love Maybe", based on the film Love Actually which starred Laura Linney (Charlotte). There are a few mentions of Ronee in this episode, plus a mention of Frank from the previous 2 episodes and an indirect mention of Donny. Niles gets another nosebleed this episode, as he is nervous about interviewing whom he thinks is the stripper, but is actually the psychical therapist! Frasier tried getting a stripper for Donny's bachelor party in Ep 162 "To Thine Old Self Be True", and a new psychical therapist to replace Daphne was featured in Ep 182 "Forgotten But Not Gone". And Frasier and Charlotte are now a couple - as the finale draws closer!
