POWERPOINT

Students will be producing a PowerPoint presentation using effective graphics. PowerPoint enables effective multimedia presentations to be designed and students will be looking at the effective tools PowerPoint has to make lively and interesting presentations. 

Students will be required to produce a PowerPoint presentation on a topic chosen by a given list. In the presentation students will create a series of at least 6 slides with text, animations, sound and graphics.

 

By the end of this unit students will be able to: 

 

  Spell check

  Proof read

  Highlight text

  Change the size of the text

  Change the font

  Use bold, italics and underlining

  Centre text

  Cut and paste text

  Use undo to correct mistakes

  Save a document

  Return to a document that has been saved

  Print a document

  Insert a picture

  Resize a picture

  Move a picture

  Create graphics

  Select and apply different graphic styles

  Print a graphic

  Add colour to a graphic

  Add fonts and text to a graphic

  Select and delete an item
