Ambassadeur 5500C

This is the ball bearing version of the ABU 5500. It was first introduced in 1973s. They were intially made in gray in the 1970s. In the late 1970s, it was changed to black.

The presentation version of 5500C in the form of 5500C De Luxe. I was sold just like other "De Luxe" reels with a presentation wooden box and spare spool. It was made for the US market and has the Red High-Speed sticker and red "G" sticker:
