Venice - Founder of the National Socialist or "Nazzi" party, Benito Mussolini, has won his bid for Adriatic President by a 30 to 60 percent margine. 10 percent of the voters opted for Communist candidate, and brother of Hawk candidate Benso Cavour, Camillo Cavour. "This is a great win for our people" said newly elected President Benito "Il Duce" Mussolini, "Under our regime we will see new nationalist sentiments increase, and thus trade and development, we have many major plans and expect the world to take notice." Many things are on the agenda, among them is the repair of our negative relationship with Israel, now under the leadership of fellow Socialist Adolf Hitler.

Moussori Annexed Into Federal Union!
St. Louis - The liberated territory of Moussori (which includes St. Louis and Richmond) have been formally annexed into the Federal Union. The new territories were liberated from the yoke of Marxist oppression under the horrible Mali regime. "This was a very successful campaign" said Adriatic general Luigi Pistone "We are proud of our boys, they fought well."

German Railway Completed!
Berlin - A road connecting Paris to Orenburg in the province of Khazakstan hasbeen competed in Berlin, dubbed the "German Railway" by its creators the new rail system should greatly improve trade relations, especially with the Zulu who have been quite vocal about the lack of easy transportation. Plans are in order to create a rail line from Helsinki to the Israelite capital of Jerusalem, however nothing has been heavily discussed as of press time.

Nuova Europa Attempt To Assassinate Il Duce!
Venice - Shortly after his acceptance speech Benito "Il Duce" Mussolini was shot at three times by Nuova Europa activists. The NE's main objective is to Federalize the continent in more of an equal Union rather than the current Federation employed from Venice. Three men were captured and sentenced to death within the following week, some political analysts say that the trials "enjoyed" by the three were not fair by any means and are a sign that the new Administration is taking the hard-line.

AL/Israeli - Mali War Comes to an End!
Jerusalem, Israel - After nearly 40 years of constant combat, the Adriatic League and Israel, who tentatively supported eachother's motives, have finally made their peace with the Mali. "The oppressive Communist regime became too overbearing on their people" said President Benito Mussolini "After much convincing the Mali finally realized they had to let up and switched to a more egalitarian form of government." The cities of Koutiala, Cairo and Libya were seized by the Adriatic League during the war. Benghazi was razed to the ground by Israelite Storm Troopers. At this point there is a general intention to return Libya to Mali, but nothing official has been released in that regard.

Zulu Scientists Cure Cancer!
Malaw, Zulu Nation - World renowned Scientist, and now Nobel Prize winner, the Shaman of Tanzania has spearheaded the effort to discover a cure for the horrible disease cancer. "Millions of lives will be saved, millions of minds will be free of worry now that this horrible scourge upon the earth has been obliterated" said Adriatic Foreign Minister Antonin Rossi, who served under Napoleon Bonaparte.

Axis Alliance Dissolves!
Soviet Council, China - The centuries long alliance formed by the Mali after the Great War with Australia has finally come to an end. China announced its witdrawl from the Alliance which was on its last leg with high dissent and inept leadership throughout the Alliance. The major issue was the change in ideology between the Communist Chinese and Mali, and the Democratic Zulu Nation. When rumors spread that the Marxist Mali actually had a major hand in the capture and eventual lynching of Zulu President Molefi Keti, the second Zulu Civil war broke out in Africa. These two events have lead up to now, the official changing of the guard. The Pacific Pact is now the unrivaled powerhouse upon the earth.

Ah yes! Finally the nation has a leader with some character and some mettle, finally Benito Mussolini has ascended his place on this Earth. No longer will our party have to deal with oppression under the old system. The movement has spread into Israel and hopefully other areas of the world will adopt our system. There are many things to consider, the Communist Bloc in China and Mali, as well as the constant threat of a one-world government with the Pacific Pact. The Fascist party will do what it can to make sure that our Nation, the Adriatic League, is never laid to rest. We will do what it takes to make sure our children and our children's children shall live life happily and in their proper culture. Already President Mussolini is opening discussions with Israel, a fewllow Fascist nation. The future looks bright for the Adriatic League. Viva la Europa, and Saluto il Duce!
