The position of constellations

The line running from East to West is the ecliptic line where the sun, the moon, all nine planets and the constellations of zodiac lie. Planets, the moon and the sun, wander through these zodiac constellations.

The big circular signs are of planets lying in the ecliptic line. The circular line is the horizon around your position. You have to rotate the sky chart to find the horizon you are facing.
