Sugar or Spice

Here's another awful header but I couldn't come up with anything. It came to me that when I was making categories for all the anime ladies I liked, I didn't have a category appropriate for the nice girls. As in "Sugar and spice and everything nice?"

Anyway, I decided to add this category, figuring there are lots of really nice girls who likeable, like Beldandy of Ah! My Goddess... It seems the categories I put up are mostly geared toward proactive fighter-types, when it should be a more level playing field, so to speak.

Some of my friends found her kinda annoying--I do to at times, but she's just so darned NICE you can't not like her. You just can't; believe me, I tried.

I freely admit that for a goddess with spectacular powers, it was a let-down when all she did was bake stuff for crumb's sake.

However, I just couldn't dislike her. She was so genuinely caring and her reasons for letting Keiichi go through challenges by himself really was for the best... Face it, there aren't many anime gals nicer than Megami-Sama.

Fuu (or, Anemone as she was called in the local dub =) was quite nice, wasn't she--but beyond that, she wasn't all helpless. More to her than meets the eye and all that...

They are the younger sisters of KaoruMan oh man, those kids are so kawaii!!!! The older one, Ayame, is trying to be so responsible and the younger one, Suzume echoes everything she says...it is such an endearing trait! Those teeny little pigtails are so cute---hmm, I said that already.

I watched the OAV again this weekend and I decided to add a whole slew of new characters. Kawii (Silver Iczelion) plays a bit-ish part, but the way she tried to convince Nagisa that to fight was the most important thing to do--especially when Nagisa was at the same time was saying the only thing that mattered was pro-wrestling.

Big duh there.

Kawii deserves mega points for not losing her patience with such a whiner as Nagisa was. Of course, she is also ridiculously happy and enthusiastic about everything, but then she could be a negative screamer like the so-called star of the story. :::shudder:::

Erin wanted me to plug Kiyone into the Hell's Belles Category, but I figured her putting up with Mihoshi's antics nominates her for sainthood. Besides, that scene in Tenchi Muyo! In Love where she tucks Mihoshi into bed shows that she's way thoughtful and sweet!
