Summary:	Prelude to the Omega Point series: why Admiral Janeway goes back to save Voyager. Proof that, centuries hence, some things are still the same. Life still has ashes in the fruit.
Important note:	This has been in the works for the longest time. It is an experimental series of vignettes of several styles and perspectives, each separate and intense. Half of my beta-readers wanted transition chapters between CH3 and CH5, the other half thought that it was fine the way it is. I have decided to give you the option to read it whatever way you wish, Chapter 4 is not necessary in order to appreciate Chapter 5. Please feed the author, I worked so hard on this.
