ENT
The Department of
Ear, Nose & Throat disease and disorders has its paramount role to play
during the mission; both for the operational fitness of the UNMIL clientele
as well as the rehabilitation of war afflicted local population of Liberia.
The department has the capabilities of managing all sorts of ENT routine and
emergency cases, in addition to running a well equipped out patient
department.

Classified ENT
Specialist: Major Muhammad Umar Aasim; born on 18 January 1971 at
Gujranawala. He is graduate of Army Medical College, Rawalpindi on 1992. He
got commission in Pak Army on 31 December 1992 and rendering his services in
his present rank since 31 December 1998. He has done his MCPS and FCPS in
1998 and 2001 , respectively from College of Physicians and Surgeons of
Pakistan.
Capabilities ENT
department is equipped with basic facilities to run the OPD. Instruments to
carry out emergency/minor surgical procedures and state of the art binocular
microscope and audiometer are also available.

including the patients attended at medical camps.
