Refreshments Served

In conjunction with PAL facilitators, students will be presenting to other students! We welcome the University Neighborhood High School Robotics team as they share their knowledge of robotics, talk about how their education has influenced their work and the ability of science to manifest itself in cool ways!

After working with PAL trainer Misato Takemori, Robotics team mentor Vicente Wilson and his students, Kevin and Andrew highlight the technical aspects of what makes pieces of metal, plastic and glass into functioning machines we call robots! Please join us for an exciting presentation by students for students.

Vicente Wilson is the mentor for the University Neighborhood High School Robotics team. Vicente has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Transportation Engineering from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn. He works in the Design department for the New York City Transit Authority.
