Under the good government sense of the Silver Dragons, Zlaghinova has become one of the strongest (at least economically-speaking) nations in all of Qur-tayn. The country is roughly divided into four different areas:

  • the western and northwestern coastal towns & cities with larger Human populations of strong fishing and farming communities

  • the NE to SW central mountain cities with larger Gloridian populations and an emphasis on mining (iron in the north and silver in the central mountains)

  • the eastern mountains, hills and meadows occupied by the Rovania -- nomadic groups of Humans and Gloridians living together off of the land

  • the central mountains where the Silver Dragons lair -- the capital of Tenegra also has a larger Dragon population, but they are still far outnumbered by Gloridians there

The Treaty of Reems was a document signed centuries ago between the Karboten neighbors to the east of this southern city, and binds Zlaghinova and Anaptun Abra together against their mutual enemies. Jinatra also signed the treaty, having great respect for the Karboten.

The most recent threat, however, has been a steady push of Ursags moving NE from Murduk. About 50 years ago, these strange, purple bear creatures suddenly attacked the once prosperous fishing town of Phalaethes. Because of its location, there was no way for Zlaghinova to send troops in time, and the city was abandoned overnight. Outpost Priam was built to keep an eye on Ursag advances and it would appear that they are not interested in leaving the mountains. It is quite possible, however, that their advances may lead them east to Ghaas.
