Laszlo
Papp - the Boxer
The brightest part in the history of the
first
post-war Olympics was that written by the Hungarian boxer, Laszlo Papp.
He has even been compared to the great ancient Greek boxer. The
Mongolian stamp dedicated to Papp manages to convey something of the
dynamism of his bout. It is well supplemented by a DPRK issue showing a
portrait of Papp.
