MUSICAL EVENING

The Sarawak Music Society Musical Evening was successfully held on 18^th July 1998. We had an interesting programme which encompassed many different instruments played by both seasoned musicians as well as debutantes. The performers included Brian Lee, Benjamin Lo, Kevin Kong, Mathias Chai, Eileen Voong, Frederiek Maddock, Darren Yeo, Gloria Yeo, Jenny Jee, Justina Yap, Yeo Han Then, Kathryn Lau, Connie Lim, Chia Hong Chuan, Chia Hong Ann & Lynn Kang.

The highlight of the evening was the "Beautiful Africa" performed by Ho Kwong Wei on the yang ching with his Chinese Orchestra. The evening ended with an encore piece by Kwong Wei as well.
