This tournament took place about four years after the destruction of Majin Buu, one year prior to Pan's birth, two before Bra's birth, and six prior to the end of DBZ. ;_; The Z Fighters did not participate in the tournament. Only the winner, Mr. Satan, and the runner-up, Mr. Buu, are known. During this tournament (and all requisite ones) Mr. Satan puts up the prize money. Mr. Buu enters the tournament, defeats all other contestants, and throws the last match to Mr. Satan. In return, Mr. Satan provides Buu with lodging and feeds him all the candy he can eat.
(And yes, I know this is basicly the same description for the 27th Budoukai, but what do you expect? The same thing happens in both, and neither is shown in the series).
