This tournament took place about seven years after the destruction of Majin Buu. The Z Fighters did not participate in the tournament. Only the winner, Mr. Satan, and the runner-up, Mr. Buu, are known. During this tournament (and all requisite ones) Mr. Satan puts up the prize money. Mr. Buu enters the tournament, defeats all other contestants, and throws the last match to Mr. Satan. In return, Mr. Satan provides Buu with lodging and feeds him all the candy he can eat.
(And yes, I know this is basically the same description for the 26th Budoukai, but what do you expect? The same thing happens in both, and neither is shown in the series)
