Women face all the problems of the SSVK target area: low literacy, water, housing, child labour, child marriage, exploitation, discrimination, etc.... Today, due to migrant labour, women in the SSVK area are heading the majority of households. SSVK is working to change local women's lives -Microcredit more -Promote leadership of women at the community level through train the trainer courses -make women self-reliant by creating & sustaining economic opporunities more -addressing the issue of maternal and reproductive health. |
