Stop It Boys Updates List
Back

Due to a number of people complaining that "Stop It Boys needs to be updated!" I have done up a list that displays every update so far since October 2001.  For those who have perhaps missed reading about the latest update on the home page, have a look here and you might find something you haven't seen yet...

19th January, 2008:

Well I found a couple of old photos from when we went on the Snowies Trip back in 2001 so I thought that was a good enough excuse to make the first SIB update in two and a half years. Check it out and be sure to sign the Guestbook and say hi as well.

Even though the updates are few & far between, Stop It Boys will continue to remain online for anybody who may want to browse through our years of madness!

1st July, 2005:

A few people have commented lately that Stop It Boys should return to its former glory.  That will probably never happen, but seeing as I've had quite a lot of time on my hands lately I've decided to do a bit of HTML editing and at least get the site fully funtional again.  I got rid of those stupid menus, and every link should now be working.

While going through all my old shit I stumbled across a heap of stuff that we had on the original SIB website.  So I made up the Original Stop It Boys Memorial Page.  Heaps of cool stuff that got deleted years ago and was never put back on!

Also found an old Powerpoint cartoon made up by Chris that I had never even seen before.  It's pretty funny too!  Good on ya Chris.

SIB isn't over yet... we will continue to remain online for anybody who may want to browse through our years of madness.

OK I can pretty much say that work on the Stop It Boys website has come to an end.

It might still get an update one day, who knows?

Added quite a collection of material from the past couple of months.  The footage from Brendon's party he threw last year is now on the Video Page.  On the Picture Page, we have a number of photos from the trip to Cairns and from Peta's final day with us.  And to top things off, our full rendition of the "99 Bottles Of Beer On The Wall" song can be found at the Audio Page.  There's still quite a bit to come so stay tuned...

Aside from that, Stacey sent us in some photos from her collection that were taken back in grade 10.  There are also photos from the other night when (in true SIB style) we made up advertisements for a brothel known as The Sex House.  Check it all out at the Picture Page.

17th September, 2003:

We have found the original prank phone calls that Kerin made!  The Mr Sodhoot ones are pretty bloody funny.   Check them out at the Audio Page.

27th August, 2003:

We now have a section on Stop It Boys purely dedicated to Video.   Included in this update is a short clip simply entitled "Creamy Dijonnaise."  We'll let you download it to find out more!  Also uploaded Photos of our Easter camping trip.

18th August, 2003:

Finished uploading the Audio from our camping trip last Easter.  Added Photos from the Ingham Car Show and from Rodger's mishap with a set of keys down the Strand.  There is a short Video of Jarred hitting Rodger over the head, and a couple of new Memories as well.

24th May, 2003:

Added pics of Clancy's car accident.

4th May, 2003:

Added the recording of the song we made up at Chris's place last night, entitled The Cows May Come And The Cows May Go But The Bull In This Place Goes On Forever.  God help us, we weren't even drinking (except Gilbert).  A few more memories have been added to the collection as well.

I thought I'd also try again for a Message Board... we had one a while back as most of you know but people just mysteriously stopped using it.   Hopefully this one will be easier to use, and it will save from clogging up the guestbook with all the stuff that's been going on in there lately.

4th April, 2003:

Chrisman has recorded his first prank phone call since the ones he made all those years ago with Graham and Matt.  Find it here with the others.

9th March, 2003:

Added a new section to Stop It Boys, called Townsville Traffic Tips.   This page gives advice on how to avoid waiting at red lights throughout the Townsville area.  There are only four examples listed at the moment, so please let us all know if you can think of any more.

17th February, 2003:

Happy Birthday again to Stop It Boys - we've made it to the two year mark!  As with last year, I wrote up a bit of a report on the past, present and future of the site.  You can find the link to that in with the Credits.

Also added today were four new K Files.

A collection of sound clips from Ty's party have been added to the Audio Page.  Some of the funniest stuff so far if you ask me!

5th January, 2003:

Added photos of Jarred's Burnouts and Jarred, Sally & Ty's trip to Moranbah.  These can be found at the Picture Page.  Also added two new K Quotes and a few Memories.  Within the next week I should have the audio up from Ty's party. Sally, you are now named in the Credits.

13th December, 2002:

Just a very small update today.  I thought it would be interesting to see if any well known guitar tab sites such as OLGA or Ultimate Guitar would accept tabs from unknowns like us here at Stop It Boys.  So I wrote up a tab to our song "The Ballad Of Balgal" - complete with lyrics and chords - and have sent it off to various tab sites.  I'll keep you posted.  In the meantime, you can find it at our Song Lyrics page.

20th December Follow-Up: I just checked up with OLGA and it seems that the worlds biggest guitar tab site has accepted a minimal-lyrics version of the song!  Once in OLGA, select "Everything" under the "Browse The Archive" section and click on "S."

27th November, 2002:

The latest addition to the Audio Page is 5 MB of sound clips from Matt's party.  Funny stuff.  Also introducing a new section to Stop It Boys: the K Files.  There are a couple of new Memories as well.  Like what was stated in the guestbook the other day, let's try and think of more from Primary School!

9th October, 2002:

5 MB worth of sound clips from our camping trip at Balgal the other night have now been added to the Audio Page!  I also added a few new entries down the bottom of the Memories page - pretty much stuff that's taken place over the past week or so (including the camping trip).  Justin came up with another good quote as well.  And Gilbert came up with two.

2nd October, 2002:

We managed to get our hands on a couple of (rather scary!) photos from Bonnie's 18th party - you'll find the link at the Picture Page.  A lot of the Memories have been rewritten so they make more sense, and around eleven new ones have been unearthed and added to our archive.   The Justin Quotes have one fresh addition and we also have a new Competition.

15th September, 2002:

6th September, 2002:

Daimon sent us in some cool Wade Remixes, you'll find them (strangely enough) at the Remix Page.  Three new Justin Quotes have also been added to the list.

I finally archived and got rid of that old Message Board as well, seeing as nobody was using it.  You can find a big page containing all the postings at the Guestbook Archive.  Speaking of which, is there any interest in getting another Message Board up and running, perhaps one that's easier to use?  It's just that the stuff written in the guestbook at the moment would probably make more sense if it was done in a forum-like style.  Please leave suggestions...

Added eleven new Justin Quotes - nine of which were stated on the one night!  Also reorganised the GilbertFest page, adding a few new Gilbert Quotes as well.

9th August, 2002:

Quite a few additions today.  To start with, there are the photos of the SIB banners at the Picture Page, there is another remix ("Linkin Infinite X-Files") by Chris at the Remix Page, at GilbertFest there is a link to a short story by Chris about how Gilbert did a commando roll up a hill and finally there a 9 new Memories and 2 new Justin Quotes.

14th June, 2002:

Chris has sent us a whole heap of photos!   Check them out at the Picture Page.  There are a few new Justin Quotes as well.

Also, go to the Audio Page and check out the new page of Remixes.  I did up a remix of Pseudo Echo's "Funky Town" ages ago and thought that it should go on Stop It Boys.  It's pretty stupid but maybe it'll get some other people interested in doing the same thing.   So get at it!

21st May, 2002:

We finally have a new competition starting today, so get your entries in!

There have also been a few minor bug fixes with opening the Guestbook - speaking of which, we now have a new one that accepts more text and doesn't need to be archived after every 50 entries.  Sign for your life!

19th April, 2002:
How do you like the new look?  I thought the site would look better if we did away with that sidebar and had a dropdown menu system instead.  It allows us to fit more stuff into a greater amount of screen space, and it should stop that annoying left-to-right scrolling needed when viewing some of our bigger pages.  And please, if you find any menu that doesn't work, any page errors, dead links, suggestions or anything like that then let me know.  I tried my hardest to fix all the links and menu-related stuff before it went online, but there's always something that sneaks through...

Apart from the above, new to SIB this week is audio from Chris' Party and a couple of new Justin Quotes.

Voting for the Wade Mullet Poll is over, check out the final results on our new Poll Page (sorry, Krista but the result turned out to be big, bad YES!).  The Wade poll has now been replaced with a Gilbertfest Poll.  For those who have a Nokia mobile phone, check out the couple of Ringtones that have been done up for you in the Audio Page.  Finally, there are also 7 new quotes in the Justin Files.  Out of school and he's still going strong, hey!

Happy Birthday to SIB!
It's hard to believe that on this day 12 months ago I was sitting at the computer, designing the first instalment of this here Web site.  There are no really big celebrations or anything, however I've just spent the last two or so hours typing up a bit of a report on our past year.  Give it a read, you'll find it here.  I'm sure you'll all agree it's pretty amazing that we're still around, so let's all hope for many years after this one too!

13th February, 2002:

2nd February, 2002:
Added the Old Protester Guy from Riverside Park to the Audio Page.  Also added a few pics that didn't previously make it to Camping Photos #3 and the Schoolies Files.

22nd January, 2002:
Added audio from Gilbert's party!  There's some good stuff there!  Where would we be without Chris and his recorder?

17th January, 2002:
Go to the Picture Page and follow the links to the third instalment of Camping Photos, the updated Schoolies Files and Eric's interpretation of Gilbert at QCS Practice.  And for those who don't already know, the Message Board now has three different forums - General Discussion, Website Discussion and Social Life Discussion.

8th January, 2002:
Created the Stop It Boys Hall Of Shame and added three new Justin Quotes.

5th January, 2002:
Added a new page - SIB Memories.  This page is a compilation of heaps of stuff that we have done over the past years that we think is worth sharing with the world.  Also, for images of Daniel's pencil case and many of its contents, go the the Picture Page and follow the new link.  The Parody & Song Lyrics page has also been updated, with lyrics to our most popular original song now available!!

1st January, 2002:
Happy New Year, everyone.  No, this isn't an update, this is just here to inform everyone that this morning (around 2:00 am, New Years Day), Gilbert was forced to stand in his own piss.  Ha ha, Gilbert.

8th December, 2001:
We now have our very own SIB Message Board!  The guestbook will still remain, but for general SIB chat, make yourself a username & password and post a message to the board.  There is now a list of Updates available for those who may have missed the announcements on this home screen.  Also, added the Kid's Version of Blink 182's Family Reunion to the Audio Page.

3rd December, 2001:
We have a new Comp go out and check it out, Schoolies Pics are now on the Picture Page,   Also some new September 11 files on the Picture Page.   Also Phil's Funnies has been updated with new Jokes etc.  Great stuff Brus.

26th November, 2001:
The Schoolbook Archives are back!  Jen is now in the Hall Of Fame - still waiting for a pic though!  Alllso, thanks to Mick for one of the two new Justin Quotes.

11th November, 2001:
Phil's Funnies now have the September Eleven Files.

3rd November, 2001:
The prank phone calls have finally been uploaded!  Find them at the Audio Page.  There are also six new quotes in the Justin Files.

Minor Update: 24th October, 2001:
Added a whole 3 new Justin quotes and also the long-awaited scanned copy of the "Pencil Case Declaration" in the Picture Page.

Coming up in the near future: recordings of prank phone calls!   You'll just have to wait till I get around to MP3ing them...

7th October, 2001:
Stop It Boys has received two emails in the last month from Geocities threatening to shut us down!

No, no, don't worry, we're not in the shit again or anything.   What they were saying is that we are so popular that thanks to all of our supporters, we have gone over our 3 GB per month data transfer limit and are creating too much traffic on their server.  So if you happen to log into SIB to find it's not available, it's because Geocities have temporarily turned us off during the busiest parts of the day.

I know, it's shit, but there's not a whole lot we can do about it until someone donates us some free, unlimited web space!  But in the meantime, go to Sproggermutherfucker to see two stupid things that the man himself said...
