Well, first of all, my name's Micah.....I'm not going to upload a picture of me, because I can most often be found in GQ (check the cover or the centerfold, specifically). I live in Chantilly, VA, near DC, but just far enough away. I was born, and my heart will always be, in Charlottesville, VA, home of UVA!!!! Go Cavaliers! But I digress... My scholastic hobbies currently are just choir, which has proven to be (more than) enough! In March alone, we traveled to Manchester High School in Midlothian (Richmond), VA; to Roxbury High School in Roxbury, New Jersey; and we had our big weekend trip to Williamsburg, VA for the Fiesta-val competition (which our 2 attending choirs swept, bringing home a whopping 9 trophies :-D). We went several places, including Busch Gardens, while we were in the area. ;-)
Nice pictures, huh? But now it's JUNE! Summertime! What am I gonna do? Not sure, but it'll have something to do with enjoying the temporary lack of SCHOOL in my life! :-)
But I digress again....non-scholastically speaking, my hobbies are playing the piano, which I have done for 11 years; listening to disco; and surfing the Net and other computer-oriented schtuff.
I am currently in the process of creating a discotheque; I have the strobe light, lava lamp, etc...I just need a disco ball (you would think I'd already have that...it's a staple!), and spotlights, not to mention the groovy beads! Can you dig it? I knew that you could!
Many people don't understand why I like disco, at my age; no, for those of you who haven't had the glorious experience of meeting me, I was not born/even thought of, or otherwise around in the 70s; but hell! There are tapes and CDs of disco! That should explain why disco is great! I mean, I hate to banter like this, but I don't think respectable record companies would waste their time and money pushing products, like "Pure Disco", etc., on television, if it were crap!!! But nonetheless, as to why I like disco (besides that): It has great base, great beat in general, and an overall great sound! If you don't know what I'm talking about, go ask your parents for an old 8-track or tape...a tape may get you farther being hardly anyone has an 8-track player.... ;-) lol...
But besides that....I think that covers everything about me! Oh well, I guess I can throw in fave TV shows, for no reason, in no particular order....(my mind just thinks by days of the week, so...): Rosie O'Donnell, Home Improvement, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Mad about You, Drew Carey, Newsradio, Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place, Spin City, Seinfeld ALL THE WAY! ....speaking of which...I love Jerry Seinfeld (not like that), but how DARE HE take the freakin' #1 TV show off the air...of course, I guess he had his reasoning (call me if you know it); anyways.....Just Shoot Me, Boy Meets World. That just about covers it. (Hmm...maybe I should rename that "shows I could tolerate watching if necessary...oh well, too late.)
Ok, I'm done. Now, get the heck outta here and go home!
