Hello diary it's been 4 months since I last wrote. I have lots of things to tell you. Today I went to Mom and Dad's room, I snuggled up with them, then I got dressed, ate breakfast and then Countess Bucktooth came to pick me up

At the time I didn't write very much but it stood for something. I was 10 years old and living in Asuncion, Paraguay as stated above.

Hello diary, I have something really important to tell you, it's about what happened to me today. I woke up this morning and went to my parent's room, I cuddled with them for a while then went to get ready for school. I got dressed, had breakfast and Countess Toothbuck's dad came to pick me up. We went to school. When we got there we sang the national anthem then went straight to class. It was sport day and there were two teams, red and blue. On the way over there in the bus we were all fighting on who was gonna win, it was really hot and I was feeling really dizzy in the full bus. When we arrived we got off the bus and ran to the courts, we got in big trouble and were told to get back to the bus while they gave us instructions on what to do. When they finished we all ran again.

In the running race I beat my best friend Countess Ssana and Countess Glasses. I was the fastest girl there. When we were all finished and we were heading back to the bus I started to feel dizzy because of the sun, I was really tired and I had a headache. My best friend Countess Ssana came with her Mom in their car so they had air conditioning, none of us were allowed to travel with them but I really wanted to. When we were leaving I leaned on a railing and put on a sick face, I was sick but not as sick as I looked. I looked over where Countess Ssana's Mom's car was and all the kids were there begging to go back to school in the car. The teachers got angry at them so I continued with my sick plan.

The principal saw me and came to me to ask me what was wrong, I said I felt really sick and wanted to vomit. I lied to her really well. She offered for me to go back to school in the car, i accepted and I arrived to school in the car. When I got there everyone knew my plan and bugged me the whole time, I was really angry but I couldn't do anything. I got picked up and went home for lunch, I lied to Mom and dad too...they said I didn't need to go to class in the afternoon, so I stayed home watching tv. Now I'm sleepy,

I think this was the beginning of my lies, this is when I realized how powerful lies could be and how one could manipulate people with them. I still remember this day very clearly. I got picked on a lot after that but I didn't care because I got to ride the car with the air conditioning. My best friend never said anything to me, I think she knew I was lying too. So how come, all the teachers thought I was really sick but my friends didn't? Maybe my friends knew me too well and knew of the lies I was capable of telling, maybe.(1999)
