Riot City are an 8-piece band from Sydney's inner-city shanty suburbs, that play Rocksteady, Reggae and Roots Ska. They formed in February 2001 and play covers from great artists such as Lee Perry, Prince Buster, Symarip and The Skatalites, along with some originals. Riot City contains ex-members of Kamikaze Harry, Bedlam Beggars and The Last Hemeroids. They play at venues in and around the City and make regular appearances at the Ska "Clubs" in Sydney and Newcastle. | |||
