Satoshi-tachi are traveling along when a tired Pikachu practically begs for Satoshi to take it to the nearest Pokemon Center. They arrive to find a distressed Joi, fretting over the Pokemon Transport System. It seems that when she sends one type of pokemon to her cousin in Tokiwa City, it arrives at the Pokemon Center as a *different* type of pokemon! Akihabara-Hakase, the inventor of the transport system, declares that nothing could be wrong with his perfect program and he goes back to his house to fix it. Satoshi-tachi are told to follow, so they arrive at his house to find a giant floating head! Takeshi correctly deducts that the head is a holographic 3-D image, so it directs Satoshi-tachi to a room with a large cylinder. The real Akihabara-Hakase emerges and tells Satoshi-tachi that he's figured out what's wrong. A group of pokemon thieves had broken into his laboratory to steal his prototype pokemon, a Porigon. Akihabara-Hakase caught them red-handed and, to prevent them from getting away with it, he transported them into the computer world. Unfortunately for Akihabara-Hakase, the thieves started causing mischief inside the computer, setting up blockades to prevent the proper transfer of pokemon. Akihabara tells Satoshi-tachi to go into the computer world to stop them, and they are, despite their protests, sent inside along with one of his Porigon. As Satoshi-tachi come out of the gateway from the real world to the computer world, Porigon grows to many times its own size so that Satoshi-tachi can ride on its back. They ride around for a little while until they come across the invading pokemon thieves--it's none other than Musashi, Kojirou, and Nyasu! A battle ensues. Musashi and Kojirou send out their Arbok and Matadogasu, respectively. Akihabara-Hakase's Porigon uses its conversion technique to change itself into a poison-type and quickly beats the two pokemon. Next, Musashi-tachi use the Porigon that they had stolen earlier. The Porigon, wearing a 0 on its forehead and a miniature Rocket-Dan flag on its tail, turns into a big lance/sword-like thing. Satoshi-tachi's Porigon changes into a giant shield, and the two Porigon go at it for a while. Satoshi, excited over the great battle taking place, has to be yelled at by Akihabara-Hakase (who's talking to them through a monitor) to remind him of why he's there. Satoshi-tachi snap out of it and start removing the barricades as the flow of Monster Balls starts to return to normal. The Rocket-Dan notice this and run to stop them, but before they can reach Satoshi-tachi they are pummeled by a barrage of Monster Balls. Pikachu then steps up and electrocutes them, sending Musashi-tachi and the stolen Porigon blasting off again. Just as Satoshi-tachi rejoice over their victory, Akihabara-Hakase notices a new anomaly in his program. It seems that Joi has hired a technician to put a powerful anti-virus program into the system without knowing that Satoshi-tachi are still inside! We see the virus (which looks like a futuristic ambulance) going through the computer, searching for its prey. Meanwhile, Satoshi-tachi remove the last of the barriers when they notice that the Monster Balls aren't really moving anywhere. Then they notice a stop sign that they had missed, so they go to destroy it. Suddenly, the video screen with the professor's face appears to warn them about the oncoming virus. Satoshi and Kasumi don't really care, but Takeshi warns them that the anti-virus will see them as invaders and attempt to delete them! As soon as Satoshi and Kasumi realize the seriousness of their situation, the anti-virus arrives! Panels on the side of the ambulance fold down to reveal large, vaccine needle-shaped missiles! Satoshi calls on their Porigon and everybody gets on the pokemon's back to escape as the Rocket-Dan, riding on their Porigon, appear. They are riding toward Satoshi-tachi (and the anti-virus program) and accuse Satoshi-tachi of being too afraid for a rematch, but Satoshi warns them about the anti-virus program. The program then fires its missiles toward the Rocket-Dan's stop sign, destroying it. The Monster Balls resume flying across cyberspace, hitting the Rocket-Dan on the way. The anti-virus starts to go after the Rocket-Dan, aiming its missiles at them. It fires four, and the first one hits the Porigon, causing Musashi-tachi to go plummeting downwards! The second one follows the falling Rocket-Dan while the third one narrowly misses Satoshi-tachi's Porigon. It's hit by the fourth one, and then stunned by a fifth one, which knocks Satoshi-tachi off its back. The Porigon is able to shake off its paralysis in time to swoop in and save Satoshi-tachi from plummeting to their death. The screen with Akihabara-Hakase's head appears again to tell Satoshi-tachi that he's spotted an exit, a portal floating in mid-air (a portal not unlike the portals in the Nintendo 64 game Pokemon Snap). The Rocket-Dan, on their Porigon, appear behind them (they apparently escaped their missiles too) and are interested in escaping as well. Back in the real world, the technician hired by Joi is still detecting invading files, so he decides to take drastic measures. The syringe-missiles on the anti-virus split open, revealing a humongous gun! The gun fires, causing a huge explosion that engulfs the Rocket-Dan and cause the computer system to crash. The technician loses control of the program, and Joi chastises him for being too drastic. Inside the computer, the Rocket-Dan find themselves in a large pit-like area. As Kojirou unsuccessfully tries to climb the slick walls, Nyasu says that it would be a piece of cake for them to get out if they still had their Porigon. Musashi asks where it's at, and Nyasu points to the CGI pokemon, unconscious on the ground. Musashi tries to wake it up, but its head just droops back. Meanwhile, Satoshi-tachi are heading toward the exit when they decide to go back to help the Rocket-Dan. The anti-virus program, having been fixed, re-emerges and aims its weapons at Musashi-tachi. Just as it's fired, two vines slither down and pick Musashi-tachi up, lifting them to safety. The vines belong to Satoshi's Fushigidane, who brings them up to Satoshi-tachi's Porigon. Now carrying the Rocket-Dan, Satoshi-tachi's Porigon begins to grow tired from the added weight and can't move as quickly. The anti-virus program aims and fires four missiles at the Porigon! Unable to dodge, the Porigon seems doomed to deletion when Pikachu steps in. After firing a massive electric bolt (this is what caused all those seizures), two of the missiles are destroyed. Satoshi-tachi reach the exit portal just as the last two missiles hit. The anti-virus missile cause a huge explosion, an explosion that demolishes Akihabara-Hakase's house! Satoshi-tachi emerge from the rubble bruised, but they're basically OK. The Rocket-Dan emerge and, after declaring that they are still enemies, say a big "THANK YOU!" to Satoshi-tachi before running off. Akihabara-Hakase weeps as he looks at the ruins of his inventions, declaring that he will rebuild. Satoshi-tachi are happy to have escaped with their lives, but Pikachu is there to remind Satoshi of why they got involved in the first place (to take it to the Pokemon Center to rest!). Pikachu is taken to the Pokemon Center, where the transport system is operating normally. After a good rest, Satoshi-tachi leave to resume their journey...

Pocket Monsters was not created by me. It was created by Satoshi Tajiri and the crew at TV-Tokyo. Pokemon is (c) Game Freak, Nintendo, 4Kids Productions, Hasbro, Bandai, and a ton of other companies. When you have a popular anime like Pokemon, lots of people own it so it's impossible to list every company who owns a piece of Pokemon. No infringement of copyrights is meant by the creation of the web site. All images were gotten from official websites (Nintendo, TV-Tokyo, etc.) unless otherwise noted (I don't steal images from other sites!). |
