Defining episodes: Episode 83, "What are the Secrets of Pokemon and the GS Ball" ("Pokeball Peril")
Information: Uchikido-Hakase is a professor living on Dai Dai Island (in the Orange Islands area) whose knowledge of pokemon is rivaled only by Ookido-Hakase. Uchikido's main field of study is the effect of the islands' tropical climate on the various pokemon who live there. Satoshi-tachi encounter her when Ookido-Hakase sends them to her island to deliver the mysterious GS Ball, a Monster Ball with many secrets. Uchikido-Hakase and her assistants couldn't transport it like a regular Monster Ball, and they had trtied to open it without success, so the professor seeked Ookido's expertise to uncover its mysteries. So Satoshi agrees to deliver it by hand to Ookido-Hakase as he travels through the Orange Islands.
Takeshi falls for Uchikido-Hakase and decides that his housekeeping abilitites and knowledge of Pokemon Breeding would be useful to the professor. So he decides to stay with her at her lab while Satoshi and Kasumi continue their journeys through the Orange Islands. After the league ends, Takeshi returns to Ookido-Hakase's lab, but doesn't tell anyone why he left Uchikido's lab. However, one mention of her name sends Takeshi into a state of fear and isolation, so whatever she did to cause the raeaction must have been serious! There seems to be a lot of mystery surrounding Uchikido-Hakase--how else would you explain those creepy eyes!?
Uchikido-Hakase is currently at her lab on Dai Dai Island, waiting for the newest findings about the GS Ball.

Uchikdio-Hakase, like Ookido-
Hakase, doesn't really train any pokemon, but she has
a lab full of them.
Pocket Monsters was not created by me. It was created by Satoshi Tajiri and the crew at TV-Tokyo. Pokemon is (c) Game Freak, Nintendo, 4Kids Productions, Hasbro, Bandai, and a ton of other companies. When you have a popular anime like Pokemon, lots of people own it so it's impossible to list every company who owns a piece of Pokemon. No infringement of copyrights is meant by the creation of the web site. All images were gotten from official websites (Nintendo, TV-Tokyo, etc.) unless otherwise noted (I don't steal images from other sites!).
