Moment when I was Hooked III

- by Zoolok.| zoolok@EUnet.yu

I first heard of U2 back in 1993. I saw the 'Numb' video and I was amazed :)
I loved the way Edge looked on that video. Than I called a friend of mine
(who is, btw, 21 years older than me) and I asked him: "Who is U2?" (I was
Queen and Dire Straits fanatic back then). Then that friend, Misa, came to
my place in a matter of minutes with all U2 songs he had... The rest is, as
you can probably guess, history...
So 'Zooropa' is the album that had the most influence on me. I grew up with
'Zooropa', 'Babyface' and the rest of the songs (I didn't like 'Joshua Tree'
all that much! lol). Now, JT is my favourite album and 'Where The Streets
Have No Name' is the song that describes me best. I guess 'runner-up' would
be 'Achtung Baby'. Not so much because of music, but because of the way Bono
looked back then... I still wear 'The Fly' glasses :)
