Moment when I was Hooked IV

- by Reilly.Josh| JOSH.REILLY@us.ngrid.com

Um, since everyone else is doing it I might as well.... Lets see, the
first time I ever heard U2 was in 1988 and I was 8. I was driving to
the beach at my Aunt and Uncles house. They put The Joshua Tree in the
tape player in their car and I was imediately captivated by the
begining of Where the streets have no name (Before this moment my
musical tastes included Baby Beluga by raffi and Disney songs). I made
them sit in the car and listen to the WHOLE tape, and ever since then
I have been hooked. By the time I was 12 I had every U2 album, My Aunt
brought me to see U2 during the Achtung Tour, and It was Phenominal!!
I was a little 13 year old standing in a sea of adults marvelling at
my heroes. I wanted to BE Bono, the epitome of cool. When I was 18 I
went out and got the joshua tree from the album tattooed on my back. I
can't wait for the new album, everything that U2 does is fresh and
original and I LOVE IT! Sorry if I am not eloquent, I suck at writing
e-mails, hope my story is enjoyable!
