Well,
I like the Cap'n,
and I like the Crunch,
and I like the screamer,
and Mr. Edvard Munch,
I like good swing, and
British comedy,
I like sweet PEZ,
I like Fox and Scully,
and I like U2,
and I like you too,
I like Steinbeck,
I like tin boxes,
I like cream cheese on
bagels,
but I don't like the
loxes,
I like smart music,
and I'll tell ya this
ain't it,
I like jokes about fish
and films by Kubrick,
I like SNL, but only when
it's funny,
I like crepes on third
and Fairfax,
I like the duck and I
like the bunny,
and I like U2
and I like you too
I like antiques
I like new things,
I like blue hair
I like retro Cher
I like Slaughterhouse
Five
I like to jump and jive
I like Ben Stein
I like the movie, Shine,
I like O'Neill plays,
I like foggy days,
I like my cats,
I like calling apartments
'flats',
and I like U2,
and I like you too,
and wouldn't they like
this song?
would they like to sing
along?
would it cause a bit of
stress?
to be caught in this pop
cult mess?
well, fear not,
B and Edge, don't go
hopping from that ledge,
'cause I like you too,
but I like Him more.
-Not
quite as lyrically
brilliant or inspired as
some of the Men's best
tunes but hey, I was in a
goofy mood. '-)
