The Moment I was Hooked VI

- by Jessica Rinks | ms_spockett@hotmail.com

Since we are sharing "the first time i heard u2" stories... I
might as well go for it.

I was 17 (this was in 1997 AH), my dad brought home R&H from the video store
on a cold, boring, March night. I had no idea who U2 were, but I agreed to
watch the movie after my dad PROMISED that it would kick ass.
By the second chord of Helter Skelter, I was SO HOOKED!!! U2 got down inside
me and grabbed a hold of my hearrt like nothing else had ever been able
to do. For once in my life, I felt like I was awake.

Four years later, I have all the albums (and then some) and my
U2 appitite is still going strong.

I'm wiiiiideeeee awaaaake.

U2 rocks the world!
