This site is updated regularly !. I have a huge library of information collected from nearly twenty years of playing fantasy role-playing games, so the only things slowing me down are transferring graphics and text from the electronic book to the site, and creating new material. |

- 12-16-98
- The Maelstrom Campaigns is joining a number of additional webrings. Some minor cleaning of the home and links-webrings pages. The Maelstrom Campaigns CD is nearing completion!
- 10-22-98
- A great deal of time has passed, with little apparent work continued upon the Maelstrom Campaigns. The Maelstrom is far from completed or discarded. The past two months have been devoted to preparing the Maelstrom Campaigns for official electronic publication. More information will be forthcoming when the commercial domain opens. However, the Maelstrom Campaigns will remain here as well, and this site will continue to be updated!
The Amethyst Alliance International Role-Playing Guild has selected the Maelstrom Campaigns to receive their August 1998 Award of Excellence. Thanks very much!

- Floorplans and descriptions of two new buildings - drawn by Maelstrom enthusiast Peter Alley - have been added to the Town of Visira showcase.

- Floorplans and descriptions of five new buildings - all complete with interior details! - have been added to the Town of Visira showcase. The Visira showcase now presents 50 floorplans!

- Floorplans and descriptions of five new buildings have been added to the Town of Visira showcase, all complete with interior details!
- 08-06-98
- A new mini-story has been added to the Legends of Roil showcase. Also, the format for all of the Legends stories has been redone.

- Floorplans and descriptions of five new buildings have been added to the Town of Visira showcase. Visira now presents 40 building floorplans and descriptions! This week's additions include rented rooms, residences, an inn and a barracks, all complete with interior details!
- 07-25-98
- The Maps of Kaladia Showcase has received an extensive update. Indian-Ink stylized versions of all 23 maps comprising the Atlas of Kaladia have been added! These are completely redrawn, 16 color maps. These files are smaller than the existing 256 color showcases, and are provided for quicker download times as a consideration to older modems or slow connections.

- Some minor rework on several pages, making them a bit more pleasing to view.

- Floorplans and descriptions of five new buildings have been added to the Town of Visira showcase. All five have completely detailed interiors! This week's additions include an inn, smithy and an alchemist's shop.
The final floors of Crown Tulloth are running late, but look for indian-ink stylized maps of the Maps of Kaladia this coming week.- 07-11-98
- Some minor touches to the Castles of Kaladia showcases, hopefully making navigating easier. The Sailing Ships of Kaladia page has a cleaner look, and the Ruthanic Brig graphics each have their own page now.

- It has been a while since the last posted update, but I've been very busy drawing. One glance, and I'm sure you'll agree. Crown Tulloth, the newest Castles of Kaladia addition, is finally here! Four of the six floors are posted, and the last two should be completed within the upcoming week. Once Tulloth is finished, the weekly floorplan updates to Visira will recommence.
Also, the Castles of Kaladia page has a cleaner look.- 07-01-98
- Added some new Links. Crown Tulloth, the newest Castles of Kaladia addition, is not finished, but will be posted very soon. Job and homelife obligations have increased, reducing my amount of Maelstrom work time.

- Floorplans and descriptions of five new buildings have been added to the Town of Visira showcase, bringing the total number of floorplans to 30! This week's additions include a highly detailed inn and a shipwright!

- The Castles of Kaladia showcase has a new look. Each castle floorplan has its own page now. Floorplans of Crown Tulloth will be arriving this month!

- Many of the text pages have a new, cleaner look! All of the sub-topic pages in the World of Roil main page - continents, oceans, inhabitants, history, and maps - have been redone. Look for more "face lifts" in the weeks to come!

- The Town of Visira, the first of the Cities of Kaladia Showcase, is here! More floorplans of Visira's buildings will be added weekly!

- I'm off on family vacation from Tuesday 5-19 through Friday 5-22.
More page rework, largely transparent to visitors, has been completed.

- An overview of the Corlennian Empire has been added. Descriptions of more countries are being added into the Nations of Kaladia showcase!

- The Maps of Kaladia page has been reworked into a new and cleaner format. The 23 resized area maps and the full-size country maps showcases are next in line!
- 05-07-98
- All of the main pages have a new look! Hopefully this has cleaned things up a bit and will make topics easier to find. I'm working on the other pages too... the ones with the paper background. There are a lot, so will take a while. I'll be doing them in bunches, ie., all the World of Roil topics, all the continent of Kaladia topics, all the country description showcases, etc.
A new addition on the home and gallery pages is the Showcase Directory, a one-stop click 'n go to each showcase. As soon as I get my copy of PaintShop Pro5, I'll have some thumbnails up on the gallery page... The gallery may just turn into thumbnail central!
Let me know your likes and dislikes about the pages. This site exists for folks to enjoy, so let me know what you want to see!

- The Currencies of Kaladia are here! The dominant currencies of Kaladia, including conversions, trade values, weight, and base metals information for denominations minted in countries throughout the continent. Also, all of the coins of the Corlennian Empire - the currency most widely employed upon Kaladia - are displayed!

- The Showcased Deities and Human Countries of Kaladia having expanded description showcases all have a new look which makes them even easier to use!
- Some visitors were kind enough to let me know of some text misalignments visible in the MSIE browser. I have corrected all I could find, so they now appear correctly. If anyone sees any typo's or misaligned text that I missed, I would be grateful if you'd let me know so I can correct it.

- The Region of Slavers' Waters area map showcase is gone... Replaced by a complete map of the entire nation of Blacksword. Four new Area Maps of Kaladia Showcases have been added!

- After experiencing massive ISP difficulties, I have switched to a new provider and once again have internet access. Everything is a few days behind schedule, but I will be updating showcases as quickly as I can.

- The redesign of the Gallery Showcase is finally complete! All showcases now have their own page, with the Gallery listing them for browsing convenience.
